Apart from eyebrows and occasionally top lip (which I have waxed at Benefit) I use Nair which is a cold cream for all my hair removal. No pain and gone in 5 mins!
Better yet, I get the 80ml tubes in Poundland or Savers. I find the blue one works best as the purple one is just too runny for me.0 -
Hey PSL,
I am loving this post from you, you sound much more positive, 2018 is looking good on you!
I've heard that the couch to 5k is supposed to be quite good, I have never done it though as I am a lazy sod :rotfl:
Defo need to take up something this year, but not just yet!

Hey
It's actually really nice to see someone in the same position as me. Not nice the it's debt, obviously, but nice that I'm not alone.
RE the fitness thing, I'm not skinny trust me, and I eat with the best of them, but no one has seemed to mention it, at least not to my face lol. I have started getting fit over the last few years though and do love a go at the gym. Couch to 5k is a brilliant way to start!
I know what you mean about the skin care. I've tried, good god I've tried to drop brands, but I seem to have very particular skin that is only passable with certain brands. Every single time I've dropped, be it care or make up, I end up looking like I've got teenage acne. I scrimp where I can but some stuff I can't. But yeah, ebay, perfect.
You're so right, it's extreme. And it's really hard work keeping up. I've never lived in london so have always had the excuse of last train, thank god. I also live in a little flat, and am desparatly trying to cling onto living on my own. Going into a house share right now would be my idea of hell. I still pay hefty rent though but it's something that's keeping me going, be able to come away at the weekend and hide out away from the pressure.
I feel a little better about the waxing now, I gave up the hair and it was kind of the same costs. I'm just really, really dark and it grows so quick, i'd be using that cream every day lol.
You have done so, so, so much. All those little changes will add up, and we will get there. I think if everyone was honest about it, there's be a lot more people in our buildings in the same position as us than we thought.
Happy Sunday xx

I bought an Epilator from Boots £20 and use it on my legs. If you can stand waxing an epilator is a breeze. It’s not as good but I’m quids in now after 18 months use. I’ve noticed that the hairs are much patchier too.
Epilator not much use on eyebrows or top lips however :rotfl: but for legs I’d recommend0 -
PSL good to read your posts. You are sounding very positiveIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you all. I'm
Not sure it is as positive in real life as it sounds. I think I Am just frightened at the numbers and the 0% expiry. Staying in as much as possible.
Quick post to note NSD today.
But I forgot yesterday bought train tickets.
LoubyI had an epilator but oh the pain! The pain. It's so brutal. I never experienced anything as bad. Waxing so much easier. I am shuddering at the memory. Your pain threashd must be so high Louby!
