I spent a similar amount in the sales

Paid via CC to get reward points but have all the money waiting for the bill to come in.
75% Christmas money and 25% which will come out of spare money account.0 -
I think that is a seriously restrained amount of money to spend. Especially given that some of it went on birthday presents and on wardrobe staples.
I would like a few more things (obviously) but holding off.
When I was shopping a lady gave me a sample of the new guerlan perfume. It's absolutely beautiful. I'm going to buy it but not yet.
And I would like a new tv for my bedroom. And a new coat and shoes and sofa and living room sofa-chair. And new foundation and few more new tops. And theatre trip and dinner out.
But for now need to wait till 2nd Jan when all the bills hit to see exactly how things are looking. Then probably sit tight for 3 weeks trying to avoid spending.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Oh I want so much too. It’s so frustrating. I’ve spent £900 on a table and 4 chairs, 2 chairs from Made.com and a lamp - all for my kitchen. It’s gone on a 0% credit card with a £100 standing order a month to pay it off, if I can manage more I will.
I still have blinds to buy. Plus I’d like a new handbag and some boots I’ve seen. But I’m resisting for now.
January will be tight, I don’t get paid until the 31st - eeek!!0 -
Your new furniture sounds lovely Louby. Feel most jealous. It will be a real asset and it will get used every day by you.
Tommorow will need to nip out and get a few house essentials and then out to pub pm.
Hopefully not too expensive.
New Year's Day seeing friend- not sure if that was great planning.
Then dreaded 2nd Jan when all the bills from the start of the month go out. Will have to take a deep breath and see how things stand.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

I too have no plans for January. I have about £200 to last me until the end of the month. That’s for 3 food shops. It can (& will) be done!0
