Hugs to Valli. Hoping the op goes well. I have a friend in her seventies who has just had the operation., and has bounced back very well.

Yet again just chilling on the sofa.

I will be around this week but have a couple of hospital appointments, including the dreaded CT scan. Results on13th.

Swinging between very nervous and what will be willing be.

    Off back to the athletics..

Oh Valli sorry about your news. Hugs.

DH been to hospital today for his endoscopy. It didnt show anything obvious which was good in some ways but we are now back to the start. We have to wait for results of the biopsies and the consultant thinks that his heart should be checked.

Came home to find the lawn mowed, garden furniture washed, dishwasher emptied and kitchen spotless. Bless my DS, I felt quite emotional. He also did most of the preparation for tea.

DS2 is at work tomorrow 12-3 and will need taking and collecting, he isnt keen on this Sunday shift as its too short to be worth while. No idea what else is planned but I must do DHs invoices for May.

Wow Yorkshire how amazing of your son. Sorry about your DH. That must be a huge worry.

    Evening

Only managed to completely De-dust the kitchen /dining room and conservatory. All morning was spent in town drinking coffee and shopping. This afternoon I walked the dog (hot hot hot) and then got down to the de-dusting. OH has gone for a curry, so me and the kids had pizza and a Dvd. Now they are asleep, so I'm going to do a bit more dusting in the lr, then put my feet up with a book.

YL how lovely of your Ds.

bob Well done, you seem to be getting stuff done x

Thanks Biscuit Monster. I love this thread.

:D Oh my, yet another glorious day.... ducks to avoid flying objects... glad you could join me in some sunshine YL

TRIED to do some ironing. Didn't last long before I started to wilt. I then cooked a roast beef dinner, as requested by the family, in a caravan currently reading 32 degrees  (that's with all the windows and doors open). Actually nearly died.

I had a quick whizz on the new quad bike round the paddock to keep everyone happy. Not really my thing, but played along, secretly enjoying it. Moved chicken coops and giant run to a more lush area of the orchard, so they can be set to work mowing. Skids taken to train station and a pop to the shops and I'm now done in! School starts tomorrow - hurray for small blessings.

Off to play bubbles with Tiny - maybe this time he won't get soap in his eyes...

    Hi all

Pigpen my DS cant sit still for 5 minutes without getting twitchy (like his mother sadly). He has done so well with his anxiety but it's still there under the surface. It could be that all that activity might have been because DH was at the hospital but if it made him feel better then I am not complaining!

It's been a productive day. DHs monthly bills done, an hours paid stuff, lots of washing, a visit to the garden centre to get a few bedding plants and DS2 ferried to work and back. Oh and I made myself sit in the garden with my book for an hour. I have a feeling I am not going to see much daylight this week.

And Dizzy I am soooo sorry to hear you have nearly boiled alive in your caravan today. Its probably going to snow here tomorrow so you are welcome to visit if you want to cool down. (Not jealous at all).

Right, going to see if DH feels up to taking the dog for a walk then thats me pretty much done for today.
