Good Morning all from chilly Yorkshire, we have the heating on and have been lighting the wood burner on an evening.

Thanks for the kind wishes yesterday, I had a lovely day and even managed a mid-afternoon nap when I got home before kiddie pick-up time, bliss!

Back to the usual jobs today so once i have finished my toast I will crack on with the list. WM is already doing its thing with DS comforter toy - he looks so grubby he really needed a wash but DS is sat in front of the machine crying for him, poor mite.

Dancemum - I hope today is much better for you all, have a hug xx
CY - Sounds like you had a nice day yesterday xx
Bossy - hope little miss bossy is well rested today xx
Yorkshirelass - I hope you managed to get some sleep at a reasonable hour xx

I have set up a very very basic spreadsheet for our spending, and DH is in full agreement that if the spreadsheet is looking good by the end of June we can send DS to nursery another day, it will be good for him and good for me. He loves it there but at the moment we can only afford one day - most of the kids there have had funded places from 2 y.o. but we are just over the income threshold so have to wait until he is 3.

Well I have waffled enough, have lovely days all xx:)

*insert smug smiley* Oh look! Another hot sunny day! (Is anyone still speaking to me?)

Got a visit into town to bank a cheque and take out some cash for the haulage guy, then soft play or similar with all the kids. Might treat them to an ice-cream as the older two will be supervising while I put my feet up with a Slush Puppy (blue obvs)

Add in a visit to the local NT property if there's time and the children should be suitably exercised, and tired, for the day. Fish and chips for tea and then bathtime and bed for little ones.

Good result with clearing out DD's bedroom nicki and glad to hear your day was fun ATB

    Flying? Unlikely today TBH x

    Morning all
Hope everyone is well or as well as can be and managing to stay warm, apart from dizzy who has the sun shining on her so needs to remember not to get burned.
Dh and ds2 moved more stuff last night so most of the furniture is swapped over its just the faffy bits now along with minimising some more of the books DVDs toys and bric-à-brac that needs to be checked through and decided if it's suitable for the CS.

It's dry here but cold so I've done all the watering, planted the last of the tumbling toms in a basket, filled all the bird feeder, put the last of the recycling out and started the wm.
Also be time for another cuppa soon.

Hugs good wishes and posi/coping vibes to all who need them

Haha dizzy we don't like you anymore.

Not been warm at all here, although I think it's set to improve over the weekend.

Kitchen just blitzed, measurer man coming shortly. Going to make a brew in a mo as I also vacced all downstairs. Finding hoardes of dandelion fluff.

Kids ar not yet dressed but I might leave them for a while. Then out in the garden I think...

We have DS football presentation tonight :D

Well one good thing has happened today, the coffee maker I put on Freecycle is being collected later.
Less good is that Mr N went to see MIL to help her find lost bank card; no luck so goodness knows where she's put it; it was a new one she left on her table. On the way home the can of waste oil in the car to go to the tip spilled and the lid wasn't on properly so my car is now full of dirty oil. And to top it off, I've rung the GP to be told he's written "no action" after the scan results on my shoulder. Had an interesting discussion with the receptionist who could't pronounce what the radiographer had written (so I told her) and she grudgingly made me an appointment for a week on Saturday. Not happy.

However I am part way through another report. As soon as Mr N has mopped up the car we'll go to the town, the tip, the bank with MIL then jolly well have a large cappuccino somewhere.

Ooh narco yuk at the oil and enjoy your well-deserved cappuccino.
I was as stiff as a board this morning, shoulders and knees painful, taken ibuprofen and am loosening up. High up cleaning not good for shorter people, I was up and down stepladders which I expect contributed, but lots of cleaning done. I am beginning to think that, for the duration, bil should get cleaners in. I have also advised much putting away, especially in bathrooms,to make cleaning easier. It is sohard to clean with 3 floors and high ceilings. I had to climb the ladders, then use a mop to reach over, to clean the shower head.
I have cleaned the blood from the hall, vacuumed up the feathers and cleaned the living room. Took half an hour in my house! Still haven't found the body though!

Dizzy we do not want to hear about your good weather, thank you very much. Unless you want to have all the flyladies turn up at your caravan for the day which I can imagine is the last thing you need!

Aww typicalblonde thats so sweet. Hope the comforter survived OK and is dry soon.

DS1 sent me two texts at 11.15pm, one of which made absolutely no sense. Turns out he was getting a lift home. Then he crashed into my bedroom about midnight all tipsy and giggly. I was not impressed. Mind you it was worth getting up to take him to work at 8.15, with the radio on nice and loud in the car.

DH is not well and is worried about his endoscopy tomorrow. Typical DH he is all grumpy and quiet, why cant men just talk about how they feel? I am working on job no. 2 today but having a break to eat some lunch and might walk the dog next.

Waffling over, things to do. Catch you all later x

    Good Afternoon everyone,

The sun has poked its head out here, hurrah! I have done very little today other than the dailies. TBH it doesn't look at all bad though so I don't feel guilty :)

    Hugs to Narco xx
YL - I completely agree, my DH is just the same. Men really are from Mars. I had one last year and the anticipation of it really was a lot worse than the procedure itself x
Bossy - hope the footy presentation goes well x

The kiddies are eating dinner and DH is in the shower. I have wine chilling and we are having an M&S meal deal for tea - our Friday treat. DH is working all weekend as a client needs something doing urgently so we will chill as much as possible tonight as won't be seeing each other much at the weekend.

    Have lovely evenings all xx

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
I stupidly tackled both bedrooms on one day this week, that will teach me to actually read the daily lists. So I am ahead of myself. Sort of. You wouldnt think it right now as we are in the lounge having just had dinner and the baby has thrown spagetti everywhere and DS dressing up box has exploded all over the sofa he sits on. But in about an hour when they've both gone to bed it wont take much to straighten.
I think after my first proper week of joining in this challenge my house is the cleanest its been in years. And I have mainly only been managing Level 1.

Oh and I am very envious of your lovely weather up North. London has been cold and miserable all week with torrential rain all day Monday.

    Happy weekend all.

Have just swished and swiped the whole house. All floors hoovered, hard floors mopped, surfaces dusted, bins emptied, mirrors polished. This will pretty much do for the weekend but I can see places where more attention is needed so next week I must make some serious attempts to fly every day.

DH picking DS2 up from cricket so I guess I will have to pick DS1 up. Busy weekend ahead.
