Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Managed to also:
    - declutter the bag cupboard down to just useful carriers. Put out an old back pack to the street, threw out an old bag that had gone mouldy.
    - Got rid of a large stash of cardboard containers I'd saved for school junk modelling. Guess they dont do it as much in Year 2.

Made home made burgers for tea with DS doing the burger shaping, cheese grating and salad prep.

Ebay item sold at £8.99 & the buyer has paid so will send that off on Monday.

Oh Valli sorry about your news. Hugs.

DH been to hospital today for his endoscopy. It didnt show anything obvious which was good in some ways but we are now back to the start. We have to wait for results of the biopsies and the consultant thinks that his heart should be checked.

Came home to find the lawn mowed, garden furniture washed, dishwasher emptied and kitchen spotless. Bless my DS, I felt quite emotional. He also did most of the preparation for tea.

DS2 is at work tomorrow 12-3 and will need taking and collecting, he isnt keen on this Sunday shift as its too short to be worth while. No idea what else is planned but I must do DHs invoices for May.

    Evening all :hello:

Sorry to hear about your sister Valli - keeping everything crossed for her operation. I know two ladies who have undergone this surgery and both are very much alive and kicking several years later. Sending you and your family all my "cancer-zapping" vibes xxx

Another hot one here, so we made a day of it and got home just in time for tea. I have done half an hour of ironing....but that's it...

Only managed to completely De-dust the kitchen /dining room and conservatory. All morning was spent in town drinking coffee and shopping. This afternoon I walked the dog (hot hot hot) and then got down to the de-dusting. OH has gone for a curry, so me and the kids had pizza and a Dvd. Now they are asleep, so I'm going to do a bit more dusting in the lr, then put my feet up with a book.

YL how lovely of your Ds.

bob Well done, you seem to be getting stuff done x

    Morning all

Sorry your DH's endoscopy didn't give any definite answers, YL. Hope the further testing puts your minds at rest soon. How lovely of your DS to do all that!

I managed to do everything off my list yesterday except actually work in the garden - I ran out of steam late afternoon. The music practice took me two hours (I only had a melody line copy of the most important bits, so had to go through it all, trying to work out the chords, so that I can add a bit of left hand harmony). Grrr to the regular organist who forgot to leave me a copy before he went on holiday! I shall have to tell my choir friends to sing up from among the congregation!

    This afternoon I must:
    - mow and edge the lawn
    - plant out the veg and flowers that I bought yesterday
    - scrub and sweep the front path and drive

I also need to download my pictures off my camera, and set up the template for my report on the week away (basically same format as last year's, but it will be longer and include more pictures).

Catch up later. Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all in need x

    Hoping it won't rain...

Morning everyone, beautiful sunshine here at last - sticks tongue out at Dizzy :)

So, lots to do. I was planning to get up and get on with OHs monthly invoices but have been wasting time on here instead. Need to get some paperwork done this morning then I might just be able to get outside this afternoon.

Oh and I want to wash some bedding too, just need the teenagers to get out of bed first and since DS2 was on the playstation until about 4am I cant see that happening any time soon.

Are you playing in church today Iona? Hope it goes well if you are.

Not slept well and feel bluergh and am brimful of CBA-ness which I expect is down to what's going on.
I have done two WM which need pegging out and shall clean the bunny. I also need to do accounts and some work stuff.
I really don't want to, though.

Ah Valli, hope you've found your get up and go but if not, just be kind to yourself.

I have taken the dogs for a long walk (OldDog did most in her stroller), cut the grass front and back, potted up six big planters and tidied a couple of other and swept the driveway.

All 3 washloads are done, and its just the last one drying now.

Nothing done inside the house though.

Me again. I've spent the last hour weeding. Next is freshening up over a dozen plant pots.
