So Sat 3rd was a spend day, I popped to the supermarket for some shopping and alcohol we needed for christening (BYOB) and also we had the charity bingo in the evening. Only spent £7 on food/drink as DH is caller and I am runner and DD is boring and does not play.
Had a look at truck and we have agreed to buy it - just need to juggle some money and should be able to collect next weekend.
Sun 4th was a NSD - Woohoo, my 2nd one of the month!!
Christening was lovely and the BBQ afterwards was great, DH caught up with his best friend from school who he see's every 4 years or so he was pleased.
Last night I had a Committee meeting at a pub and brought my self and a friend a drink so only a small spend of £1.70.
Today will be a NSD!!! (She's says with determination!!!)0 -
Spendy day today, car gone for an oil change - got a voucher so hopefully should just cost 45.00.
Popped in morrisons got a stir fry for 50p which will go nicely with my leftover chicken. Unfortunately some scones fell in my basket oops.
Just seen pic of my new gd/gs daughters scan today. So nice to have happy news.
Coping okay with my knee today, better off doing a bit of walking, wish the Dr have given me some advice as what to do. Looking on internet just carry on as normal and rest up when it swells up! Not looking forward to 5 hr drive next week with it.
Today seems to be dragging, whether it is just because its hot and stuffy here. Oh well shuffle some more paper about.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Bob fleas spend 90% of the time not on the cat. AS well as treating the cat, you need the household spray and to treat all the carpets (particularly under radiators) and cat bedding. If you shampoo the carpet, you need to repeat the treatment.
Thanks Mothernerd. We dont have carpet, just wood downstaira and laminate upstairs. And the cat just sleeps on our beds usually. So hopefully with him treated thats an end to it." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi All
Well the storm has just begun. Im quite glad as its been horribly close for hours.
Have spent some time on the phone with the accountant today regarding the sale. Next steps to have the lease valued. I have to find a specialist who does that appatently. But the accountant thinks I should get out what I put in. Fingers crossed.
Its kind of gutting to feel like I have invested so much of myself into something only to walk away. But I have to choose sanity and stability. 2 things self employment do not bring readily.
I think a lot of people will be surprised to learn that I am going to sell up but equally I will know I tried.
Right. Soggy thunder struck school run anyone?

Oh did I miss a post here. Don't blame you being self employed is a struggle and you can only do so much. Hope you come out of it happier and you don't lose any money. Good luckLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Very busy day, lots done. Bed mending frog eaten. Trying to find some energy because we may be able to get the laminate floor man tomorrow but this means I have to paint the hand rail and balusters (hate that job) as the flooring will go up to them.
I am enjoying my 'active days - I feel much more like me even though i have to have little rests in between bouts of activity.
I think you are making the right decision Bob. You always sound so busy and organised but it must take a toll on you. I am sorry to tell you that fleas love beds as well. You are not really supposed to use the household spray on human bedding but I have been known to spray the bottom end of the mattress then put a clean sheet on top, so that we weren't in contact with the stuff but the little blighters would perish. See how you get on. We had three kittens from one litter and I could treat them all for fleas and the following week one of them (always the same one) would have them again. I did find a mousse that was massaged into the fur and she actually liked that - it also meant I found the lump on her head get it treated.
The fridge I was worried about is definitely dead. Some food waste but not a lot. Just need to clean it out now.
Today I am grateful for the lovely sunshine and the cooling rain - we too have been baking for days apart from a short shower on Monday. Have enjoyed my stash of fizzy water and am recycling the bottles via the freezer. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
A NSD to report today, 3/20. Feel like I'm coming down with a cold though so will probably have to buy some throat lozanges tomorrow as I'm at the 'feels like I'm swallowing glass' stage
