selene thank you for your comment about teachers :)

ccl it is always sunniest when we're at school isn't it?!

Just hit 90% of exam marking :j it's taken 6 days of my half term (minus the social trips out and tutoring). I was desperate for an ice cream but needed at SFD more and have found some out of date mini twisters in the freezer so will eat them!

    Wooo hoooo!

First NSD! Stayed in the house all day and sorted out my loose change!

The second major frog is in the process of being eaten. I am fixing the final chapter of my doctoral thesis and then I can put it in for binding!

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Had a nice day. Took DS paddling in the river and DD even had a little go too. Its been scorchio in London today. We made a den in the garden by throwing a sheet and blanket over the trampoline and we all got in to hide from the sun.

Had to wash all the bedding again even though I'd only done it Tuesday as my son had been eaten alive overnight so assuming the cat has fleas. Just been out to get the last of it in from the line.

Debating the holiday issue again. Im leaning towards not bothering as DD is just too little and essentially it would be the same routine each day but somewhere else. Why spend the ££s? We may ask DHs parents if we can come down for a long weekend in August as they live right by the sea and have a large holiday camp within walking distance (swimming pool, rides, arcades, restaurants)

Packed up ebay item that had sold so thats ready to go tommorow. Listed 2 more items (both toys) trying them with fixed prices instead of auction on advice of an ebay trader.

Tidied DS clothes cupboard and put items of school uniform he wont wear again out into the charity bag. The flylady challenge includes getting rid of 10 items tommorow so think Im starting the week ahead :)

DH's lunchbox done with leftover pasta from our meal tonight and a stray ciabatta I rounded up and popped through the oven to refresh.

Recorder packed for DS and polo shirt ironed as they have their whole school photo being taken tommorow. They must do it every few years specifically to ensure each child gets a chance to be in it. The head is leaving this year after a really long time with the school, its been interesting seeing her age from a 20 something through to now on the school pictures they have up in the hall way. Shes taking early retirement to enjoy it. His teacher is also leaving and has just become a grandmother for the first time. So 2 hard acts to follow there.

Right well. Bit of Wallander and then bed.

    Night.

Hi all, reporting with 2 NSD's earned this weekend, total 4/20. Been using up stocks in the fridge and freezer, Most of them ys goodies stored in the freezer. Have ran out of washing up liquid but didn't want to lose a NSD because of it so everything's been put in the dishwasher and those that won't fit have been washed using the laundry powder. Not ideal but will not hurt anyone, not least my wallet.

Ate 2 little froggies today - 2 bits of flycleaning that I've been putting off forever. The house looks immaculate now, goodness knows how long it will last. Did a bit of sewing last night and I have nearly finished one shirt for myself using a duvet cover that I wombled from the fabric bin in the sewing class. Just the sleeves to do and I will have another new shirt. Woohoo.

Will be hitting the sack soon so I bid you all goodnight.

    ,Lost my post.

Painting has been done. SFD 1 as haven't been further than the bins.

Very very tired but not in any pain. Have sorted my signature.

Today I am grateful for perseverance (sheer bl**dy mindedness), for paints that work (quick drying etc) and for my bed. You don't want to know about the rest of my room - I have a pathway to the door and can squeeze into the bathroom. As I reached the final stages of painting the big room all the bits that didn't have anywhere to go squeezed into the half landing between my room and the bathroom. All the bagged up quilts and pillows and the big tools that were in the other room moved into here yesterday.

Oh mothernerd, you sound like one of those poor people from Extreme Hoarders. Hope you get things sorted soon!

Now the half term has ended I might be able to join in properly. Having all four children at home plays havoc with my schedule (and budget)...

Damn, damn, damn!! I managed to spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As I predicted in my DFD, this happens when I don't have plans and impromptu spending occurs.

I have however managed to go 6 days without visiting a SM. So back on the waggon this week as I have a much firmer schedule.

    Have a good week!

Only 1 SFD out of the last three days too, still need to update my sig later. Had a lovely family bbq on Saturday. Had the paddling pool out for the kids as temperature in double figures constitutes a summer up here :rotfl:. Sunday we spent in the zoo, the park etc and only came come at 6pm. Was a great day out but I was hit by overwhelmedness badly when we came home as all I could think off was that I haven't done anything productive and still need to do the washing, dishes, lunches ......Took a few short cuts (DH bought SM takeaway :o) and got some help from him (dishes) and just left some for this morning.

So to change things round a bit and improve my mood I booked 4 exercise classes this week (no chance to stop running after half a mile ;) and vowed not to watch telly most week but get things done off my list I made this morning and get the feeling of achievement back. Nearly had a breakdown last night while bathing the kids when I saw the state of the bathroom (although I probably want it cleaner than it needs to be). Anyhoo, onwards and upwards.....:D

Back home now after being away since Wednesday, had a fab time. My sister's wedding was amazing and it was great to spend time with the family in the run up to it. Me and OH have both come back slightly sunburnt, esp OH as it was lovely weather too. Had 2 NSDs while we were away but unfortunately managed to completely overspend so will have to rejig the budgets later. I'm meeting a friend for lunch today but since it looks pretty nice we are going to have a picnic in the park.
