Hello everyone
I feel like I've unpicked another knot in my life today. I had found a website that looked helpful for the sale but having spoken to them they arent quite the thing. But the sales guy was super helpful explaining things like 'goodwill' as a concept when selling a business. Im clueless having never done it before. And he has put me onto a website called Daltons that is like ebay for selling a business essentially. I had a quick look and it seems juat what I need. I need to now get them to come and do a valuation. Which makes me feel very anxious but excited at the same time. Its like that bit on antiques roadahow where people sit with baited breath waiting for their bit of tat to be worth a million
I really hope I get some interest...
Have a meeting with the accountant next tuesday and have started the ball rolling with the solicitor. Think the valuation is the key ghough for all the pieces to come together." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hello turtles.:j
SFD for me today.
I was at my sister's house at 7.30am this morning. I had said I would do some ironing for her whilst she is on holiday, but after about an hour of ironing...I felt dreadful.:(
Looks like I'm still not over this cold/flu. I think it's also a combination of hay fever as well as its pretty high here.
My DD2 picked me up and took me home to save me walking as . I feel so wobbly.:o
I wanted to dye my hair but don't feel up to it. Hopefully tomorrow.
I also wanted to get hold if that frog.....clean out the wet room drain...and choke it, but I don't think my stomach would take it!:rotfl:
One bonus is that I'm not buying anything...not even food, and my friend is treating me to a KFC for my tea....bless.:A
Hope everyone is okay.:)Living a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

Thank you for the comments and ideas about teaching the ankle biters. fmess, I would have been the same as you - down to the wet friday pm classes!- before being in my current school. I shall talk to the Head about it next week, as I'm not there tomorrow, and see where we go... It would help with 'project pay off the mortgage'...

Hi fmess, sounds like that Indian take away was well deserved. Hugs as you look back to this past year of roller coaster ride. Bob, I wish you all the best as you move on to a different chapter in your life. Get well soon funbrum . Do take it easy. Sounds like you need a bit more time to recuperate from the cold/flu thing.
Yesterday was not an NSD, so I'm still at NSD number 5. Hubby had to top up his petrol and I had to buy bread and fruits and some things for the packed lunch. Not a huge spend (£5.75). I am hoping to earn another NSD as I plan to head straight to the fatties club and out again after getting weighed (I'm dreading doing as I am sure I have put on at least a lb on, but I must go to get my focus back). Then after the weigh in I will get on with tea using up stores. I think vegetarian chop seuy is what we're having.
I went to my hairdressers yesterday as my fringe's gotten too long. It was only a 2 minute job for which the hairdresser just charged me £2. I thought it would be a lot more expensive than that but now that I know, I could have my fringe done every 2-4 weeks and my hair every 8-10 weeks. Result!
For the first time in so long, I forgot my packed lunch at home yesterday and I had no choice but to have 1) breakfast in the canteen (was cheap though at £3 including 5 items plus 2 toasts and coffee. 2) lunch (£2.10 for jacket potato and 2 toppings.). Really gutted with myself for spending £5 unnecessarily. 2 years ago I used to spend that amount on lunch alone, every working day. Now that we've changed our spending habits, spending £5 on breakfast and lunch is an irritation. I was good today though, I had salad (ys for 9p) plus last night's left over tuna and chicory.
The sun has been out all day here in my part of the country and looking out from my office, it seemed glorious out there. I don't know if it was just me but I felt so freezingly cold all day. Probably down to the fact that I went out of the house with my hair still wet (trying to save electricity by not using the hairdryer) and I just couldn't warm up at all. I hope it's not a sign that I am incubating some sort of cold virus.

A NSD yesterday other than some throat lozanges, today I was at training and went for lunch at the local Wetherspoons with my colleagues instead of going home for lunch, under £5 though but still naughty step for me again
I then went to the supermarket to get some fruit and some gf chocolate brownies jumped in the basket. Money is so tight this month due to overspending while we were away but still struggling not to spend. I feel horrendous at the moment due to cold so that is probably not helping my general motivation.

Drcee well done on the habit changes i.e. resisting the lattes and taking lunch to work. Don't worry about making the target SFD (I won't make it either as I set the number too high thinking it's May, a long month). Keep trying and get as high as possible. It's a mind set change that takes time.
Thanks Thrifty. The habit changes are really helping! I keep putting the £2's that I would spend into a separate savings account and seeing it add up is really helping.
Not an NSD for me I'm afraid. I paid my SW membership (which I would count as planned regular spending) and I had to buy something for the buffet. Never mind! Tomorrow will be a NSD!!NST June 2016 No. 11June Grocery Challenge: £85.66/£120

Hi everyone!
Another NSD here which I think puts me on 5 now. Tomorrow should be a NSD too as I have prepped my lunch and already taken bits out of the freezer for tomorrow's evening meal. Little ones have non uniform day tomorrow but they have asked for items to be donated for the school fair rather than cash and my mum has kindly donated some suitable bits so no spend required there.0 -
Morning all,
Not a SFD as met up with friends for dinner. We only manage to meet up every few months so it was lovely to see them.
Today the first instalment of my exam marking money has arrived and I've ant 75% of it to pay off my debt. I'm annoyed it turns out to be less than I thought it would be (the always over estimate how much yoi will earn, I think it's to entice you to do it) but at least it's another chunk of money off the debt.
The rain is finally forecast to arrive here this afternoon so I've got my fingers crossed as the plants need it desperately.

Morning All
Its friday horray! Looking forward to a rest tommorow.
One thing I have to work on is not giving in to 'all or nothing' thinking. I have been concerned that the sales process will throw up costs that I havent planned for and throw me off my DFD date.
But if I think that way nothing will change. So I have to keep moving forwards and if its not perfect then so be it. Success will still happen even if its not right now.
Phew deep thoughts for pre coffee rambles
