I think the point being made was that one group might feel wary of expressing their views, to the opinion polls might not reflect the reality. It is said that Tories were reluctant to admit to being Tory before the last election as many people specially comedians villify Tories.0 -
According to today's papers, Cameron has been slated for scaring pensioners into voting 'in' by threatening pension drops, loss of free bus pass and tv licence, together with having to pay for GP visits and medical treatment, so the campaign is to be passed to Brown and Corbyn .0

This is starting to sound like a Monty Python Sketch: "What have the Europeans ever done for us? Err, running water. Oh, and sanitation. And roads ... "0

It is the nail in the coffin of remain. Their strategy for the past few weeks has been to frighten everyone about the economy; warning of inflation; the falling pound; Armageddon. They are now bringing in the big guns of Gordon "no more boom or bust" Brown. They are most effectively conceding the economic argument.0

An interesting thought. The UK would be a huge loss to the EU given that we are one of the big contributors. And were we to break away and thrive, others might follow i'm surprised they gave us such pitiful concessions. I could imagine a leave vote, followed by a real offer of an associated membership, and a second vote on that.
I still think we will stay.0 -
