I have high dusted with my fake feather stick thingy, so all spiders webs are now gone, not too sure if there were any, but gone they are.
Me too!

I'm going to take a break - will make myself a cuppa and sit down for an hour (with the timer set!). Just hoping that the big grey cloud that has appeared over the hill behind our house will travel round us rather than empty itself all over my nice clean, almost dry washing. I need some of the clean stuff to take with me.0 -
Didn't finish the glossing until lunchtime. I always forget how long it takes to do the washing down and masking taping!!! All done now though so gloss can go away. Might do all the touching up then the painting stuff can all go back in the garage!! I have discovered pound land paintbrusheS. I know it's not very thrifty but at 3 for £1 I have started using them and flinging them. I used to try to wash them and when I went to use them again they were always past their best!! So this works for me!!!
Here is the rest of my list......
Tidy utility room
Sweep and mop kitchen floors
Wash dining room windows..
Clear and wipe out the oven and hob
Wash living room windows
Sort through coats 'n' bags n shoesGrocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
Paid stuff finished so I'm about to walk the dogs. Managed to do all on my list this morning except look at official list!
Tonight:
Walk dogs
Eat
WUDUPA
Read paper
Pick DH up from work
Bed
See you all tomorrow when I will try to keep to the lists.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

I do the same but with rollers from a local DIY shop. I buy them in bulk when I'm decorating and just fling. I also buy the cheaper brushes and if I have to leave the job for some reason (like leaving that coat to dry overnight) I just wrap them in cling film. It can get messy but it works for me and I always make sure I remove as much excess as possible before I fling.
My orders have been sorted through, Mr A shop arrived late. Apparently the van broke down and I should have received a text to tell me but it appears no-one got one. I've put the fridge & freezer stuff away and took an extra 2 minutes to label the tops of the ice-cream cones with a letter so we know which flavour they are. I'm sick of ice-cream roulette then DD moaning she can't find the one she wants.
I'm just going to go hang some washing out while I have a drink, then get on with the next work job. Looking forward to a day at home tomorrow with no deadlines to meet pottering along with jobs in the house. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Oh my, I sooo misread that :rotfl: Fairly choked on my sandwich laughing!
I aim to please.............could add a comment but better not.
Mr N and I walked round garden with our list, ostensibly looking for spaces to plant summer bulbs but ended up with a longer list, bah. Iona we only got 3 osteosperms, they didn't have the 'whirligig' ones with folded petals that we like, so I'll just have to go out again tomorrow. Hope you manage to get some sun - a holiday on doctor's orders?
Nearly done with a report.
Done a bit more course.
Done lots in the garden but very little in the house.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Thanks for all the warm welcomes everybody!
:D:D
Just in from work and having a cuppa before I decide what to tackle first. Not sure how much I'll get done tonight, as I've been invited round SIL's as well.
This morning I S&S'd the bathroom and kitchen, though I will re-do the kitchen after dinner. Also emptied the DW.
Definitely need to sweep in the lounge tonight though, saw some dust bunnies this morning  I blame the cat!!! It was only Sunday that I did it last
Right best get moving before I take root!0 -

Hi all. Another madly busy day, feeling a bit tired and sorry for myself so I won't stay long. More work tomorrow and I really need to visit my parents which I don't have time for. I need to sleep, see you tomorrow.0
