    Morning!

Gosh it's hard to get going this morning!

Just made a brew, kids having brekki and its my last day at work :D ideally it would be. Gentle winding down day but I fear it will be full pelt until the bitter end. I do feel for my colleague who is taking on my stuff - he is stretched beyond belief without it. I e tried to simplify as much as I could...

Ah well. In 6 hours it will not be my problem!

Wanted to do the lawn today but I think it's due heavy rain all day grrr.

Valli your optimism is bound to take a shaking given what's going on - the flylady bus is always here with a virtual cuppa and hug xx

Ahh no FFP. I have to disagree with you there. One of the benefits of having teenagers is that there are no horrible bits of plastic lying all over the house.

Oh and thanks Dizzy. Yeah feel a bit better today, too many demands on my time at the moment but nothing I can do about it.

Yeah Pigpen that definitely gets you the prize of ailment of the week. Hope it clears up quickly.

Lots to do today as ever, in fact I better get myself moving. Have a good day everyone x

    Morning all

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes to all!

My house is kind of presentable today, as long as you don't look to closely and ignore the piles of paper/catalogues. I tried to put all my work related stuff in the cupboard but there's no room so I need to tackle that this afternoon. I'm not quite sure why there's no room but hey ho!

My priority this morning is to groom Zack really well. The fur between his paws is long again and he's sliding a lot on the laminate. I'd take him for a walk as well but he's split his paw pad again I assume when he was playing in the yard yesterday. He's spent this morning either herding DD or laying on the sofa, whereas normally he's whizzing around playing with his toys. He keeps licking the paw with the injury so I'm going to give it a good clean and have a better look. I may take him for a short walk later this afternoon. After he's done I need to attack the livingroom & the kitchen floor. Despite 2 door mats there's muddy paw prints on the furniture and ghost ones on the floor.

Bossy- hope you manage to enjoy your last day at work.

Atb- thanks. I am pleased with it. It is such a big space!! It ha made a massive difference to our house. Just sorted out all the painting stuff and have binned a lot of stuff whilst just keeping the essentials. I can't take the credit for all of it. OH did all the ceilings and covings and we did the emulsioning together mostly. After the touching up has been done there will be no more painting until September!!! Next job to start- is looking into a new kitchen. OH is taking a day off work after little miss's christening so we can go and explore our options without the boys in tow!!!!!

This morning I have done a general tidy up ready for the new wm to arrive. (Loving a*. Quick delivery and you can track your order so you can see where the van is, how many deliveries they have left to do and an approx time. My time slot has gone from a 4 hour window to a half an hour one!!!!)

    Anyway update of the list...

    Touching up in the hallway
    Fit three more door handles
    Wm x3
    Sweep and mop kitchen floors
Clear and wipe out the oven and hob
Sort through coats 'n' bags n shoes

Wacky Wednesday ~ Master bedroom and landing
    Clear the floordrobe
    Check those smoke alarms!
    Dust and deweb

Update - best laid plans have gone out the window as DD has a funny tummy so I am keeping her off pre-school.

It is freezing here, I have the heating on !!!!!!! I have cooked dinner, done a WM load which will need to go in the TD, bathed DD (poor lamb :( ) and done an online shop to be delivered tomorrow. I only had one yesterday, food is being scoffed at a rate of knots in this house!

Also eaten a huge frog in the form of emailing the accountant - I have been putting it off as I always feel like I am going to be told off for my ineptitude when it comes to doing DHs books! x
