I'd chuck an extra tablespoon in. It's a lovely cake, very moist and light, and easy enough for even a bloke to make. :D

I did manage to wait the bare minimum of time before getting stuck in. :p

Help! - made the be-ro choc cake yesterday and it turned out as flat as a pancake - any ideas what might have gone wrong?

It links to the Sky One website for me, but it does have a recipe for a dark chocolate fudge cake with raspberries on the page.

How strange - I just get the Sky one page with a blank space on it! If anyone gets chance would you be willing to type the recipe out if it's not too long? Would be very grateful ;)

If you look on the board for Mr bad examples choc yoghurt cake, it's lovely and very easy.

How about a web icing design. You ice the cake in white glace icing and then do coloured concentric circles on it and then use a skewer to draw lines through the circles from the centre outwards to create a cobweb effect. You could then position a few plastic spiders on it.

We made a chocolate victoria sponge, filled with fresh cream and covered with a fudge icing (very simple and yummy) and covered it in smarties. My 3 year old DD2 knew exactly what she wanted lol! All very easy to do and DD's both helped to make it the morning of her birthday. Another good one is same as above but stick matchmakers in it to make a hedgehog. I made a cone out of brown card for the face and stuck googley eyes and a red pompom on for a nose. I decorated the plate it sat on with cut out leaves design.

HTH, if you want the recipe for the fudge icing just let me know.
