I have no clue on the fines system here as never had one myself touch wood, I do still feel strongly on this one and there are genuine people who need these spots so if a fine goes to a Company and gets upheld from a person that should not have been there then good.

Fines are issued by a magistrate when you've done something so bad you are summonsed to appear in court before the magistrate to answer to the charge. You would get a fine if the infringement wasn't bad enough to deserve a prison sentence. A minor offence.

Parking no matter how bad is not a criminal offence so a person will never appear before a magistrate and a fine can never be issued.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

    Hello!
I got a parking ticket from UKPC. The notice is badly printed and I cannot see the amount.
The reason was that I parked in a disabled position without showing the badge.
    Any advice?

    just to clarify things

are you or the owner of the car or the passenger at the time of the incident a blue badge holder?

    yes or no

no, nobody is a BB holder
I never said the ticket was not justified
I just asked if I can avoid it, based on comments I read online

Seeing the ticket better, a number or two from the reference number is faded out as I got it. Their printer did not work well. Can I use that for them to cancel my ticket?

Otherwise, I will have to make guesses at their ticket finder with the reference number to find the correct one, in their appeals website. Then make an appeal and paste them the letter in blue, right?

But I don't want to go to court, the only thing that would be acceptable to me is if they send me a written cancellation of the ticket. Otherwise I wouldn't like it to be standing and after years to have to pay thousands.

    Any advise?

although blue badges mean nothing at a supermarket they are an indicator that (a) person in the car has a disability.

the supermarket is under strict instructions that he allocates parking spaces for the disabled , under threat of fine/closure if he does not.

they have to keep those spaces clear for the disabled.

as you were taking the !!!! by parking there pay up and don,t do it again!

    oh that's so disappointing
are you sure there isn''t something that can be done due to their ticket not been printed well?
and please don't leave so much space between your sentences, you increase your carbon footprint

If I was given a ticket wrongfully, I would be able to argue myself to have it cancelled, what is the point coming here?

I am coming here as a frustrated customer by the nazi parking vampire companies that drink our blood.
