Regulars, you'll be banging your heads against a brick wall trying to get the OP to listen. From other threads of his and responses he doesn't like (usually most of them) he ignores and usually just rants and raves without taking anything on board.0

You need to make a flowchart guys, there is no need to read a whole booklet of information, we need an overview of the options and the actions we need to take.
Why do you expect people who are not paid and are doing this in their spare time to "need to make a flowchart"? Maybe you need to sit down and take a bit of time to learn about and understand a complicated process? It's hardly fair to place your unwillingness to learn on other's is it?
Hmm..so you CBA to learn the process and you CBA to find a spot that isn't a disabled spot. I'm no fan of PPCs but your attitude is why they exist. No, I don't have blue badge, I just parked there for like 10 minutes and that disgraceful parking cop gave me an invoice. Those companies are a plague!0 -
Hello!
I got a parking ticket from UKPC. The notice is badly printed and I cannot see the amount.
The reason was that I parked in a disabled position without showing the badge.
Any advice?
The parking ticket you got it from UKPC are not a penalty or a fine.
its an invoice. It mean that you don't have to pay if you don't want to. The PPC just want your money.
You can challenge them or ignore them.

OMG, that sticky is huge with alot of uknown words for me
Is there any direct advice?
OMG. It has words in it so you stopped reading. Try reading it on a PC or laptop, not a phone. You need to make a flowchart guys, there is no need to read a whole booklet of information, we need an overview of the options and the actions we need to take.
Make one yourself then - some of us have a day job and a life away from here.
You can read the thread if you can be bothered and follow the advice, use the template appeal - or not, your choice really. It's not exactly difficult wording; not exactly hard to COPY A TEMPLATE APPEAL WRITTEN FOR YOU FOR FREE, on a thread which very simply tells you which exact day to appeal and how...
UKPC are easy enough to see off in the end but you won't learn how if you won't read how.
Or, how about just reading another UKPC thread?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Guys, I need some simple instructions as I don't understand the sticky.
Do I have to send them a letter? I can do that, I can copy a template you give me? Will anyone help me step by step?0 -
as the ticket was from UKPC , send the template letter in blue from the newbies stickie , do not add , delete or amend anything , do not add your own words.
they will either cancel or send you a POPLa code.
you can the explain to POPLa why you parked in a disabled space without owning or displaying a blue badge.
do not lie , if you are taken to court later on by UKPC , perjury can hurt you .
if you cannot find the stickie , here is the letter
Template appeal for BPA members - copy this wording into the online appeal box or into an email:
Date
Dear Sirs
Re: PCN No. ....................
I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car and I will complain to the landowner about the matter if it is not cancelled.
I believe that your signs fail the test of 'large lettering' and prominence, as established in ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis. Your unremarkable and obscure signs were not seen by the driver, are in very small print and the terms are not readable to drivers before they park.
Further, I understand you do not own the car park and you have given me no information about your policy with the landowner or on site businesses, to cancel such a charge. So please supply that policy as required under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. I believe the driver may well be eligible for cancellation and you have omitted clear information about the process for complaints including a geographical address of the landowner.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. You must either rely on the POFA 2012 and offer me a POPLA code, or cancel the charge.
I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,
{obviously add the registered keeper's name, obviously add your postal address even if emailing (!) as long as you are sure the PPC is an AOS member}
ADD A SQUIGGLE IF POSTING IT!
NO NEED TO USE A REAL SIGNATURE - BUT DON'T POST UNLESS YOU HAVE TO - USE THE ONLINE APPEAL PAGE FOR FIRMS LIKE UKPC AND EURO CAR PARKS & PARKINGEYE, BECAUSE THE APPEAL CANNOT THEN GET LOST AND YOU CAN KEEP A SCREEN PRINT. USE THE EMAIL APPEAL OPTION IF FIRMS OFFER IT - E.G. HORIZON, SMART, OR 'MET' AT MCDONALDS OFFER EMAIL APPEALS.

You are joking. The sticky thread is not difficult but it has to have some level of detail to cover the basics. The template is the same one pappa golf just showed you - in blue writing, exactly the same - so what's the difference?
The trouble is - because you can't be bothered to read words - you now do not know WHEN to send that appeal (the sticky tells you that and it tells you who to compaint to as well but you are missing it all).
How are you going to cope at POPLA stage? Because UKPC do not cancel first time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

When do I send that?
Do I just send that ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis thing as it is to their email with my fullname and address?
And that's it?
What's next?0 -
