I just had a quick scout about and found it on their website here http://www.bankofscotland.co.uk/bankaccounts/vantage/

Aye - that's right but that wasn't my point as these changes should be communicated to us - not scrabbling through websites.

    Thanks anyway though.

Ah - my bad.......no letter here yet and this was the first I'd heard of it too.

Letters will probably start being sent out late next month, early July to make sure they give 60 days notice. (I think that's the amount they normally give on variations)

For a change such as this it's "at least 2 months before", and will be via personal communication (as opposed to simply being published on their website/branch/press, as they'd do for a change that favours the customer).

"From 1 September 2016 you’ll need to pay at least two different Direct Debits from
your Bank of Scotland Vantage account(s)"

If I for example open 2 Tesco Internet Saver accounts and setup 2 direct debits for each of my 3 BOS accounts, would that only count as 1 direct debit per account? Or will it count as 2 because they are from 2 different accounts?

    Credit interest with Vantage
From 1 September 2016 you’ll need to pay at least two different Direct Debits from your Bank of Scotland Vantage account(s) each calendar month to receive credit interest. This is in addition to your existing requirement to pay in at least £1000 each calendar month and stay in credit for the monthly billing period.

Thanks for the heads up, appreciated. Looks like I will have to get to work investigating DD's.

    Thanks for the information.

Did you find out by HBOS sending out (by post) these new T&Cs?

No. I opened a new account and a pop up advised me.

    Can be done from 1 T. I.S, different mandates, e.g Mr J Bloggs and J Bloggs x 3

I see. Well that makes things a little bit more simple.

The 'job' itself took less than 10 minutes. It could even have been done in under 2 minutes, but I chose a non-standard configuration for my DDs.
