If you had to do 4 DDs from your Account(not in this case), can you do 2 to yourself and 2 to your partner or do all the DDs have to be in your own name?

I had severe problems opening my savings accounts as well, both of them took many attempts to get through the application. Was receiving error codes at random points constantly. Also a point to note is when I tried using Firefox as my browser the address lookup function for my previous address did not work properly.

Persistence however paid off and if you keep trying you will eventually succeed. It is highly frustrating though, one time I got all the way to the end where it performs the final check and it loaded up a box saying I was logged out, ho hum!

I also experienced the same problems afterwards trying to set up direct debits but again persistence paid off and they now appear to be set up at Tesco's end.

Having read the info and having 3 BOS accounts can someone confirm the following is OK.

I have set up 6 x DD from my one TIS, 2 DDs to each account using slightly differing ways of putting my name i.e

1 x J Bloggs and 1 x Mr Joe Bloggs to each BOS account.

Can someone remind me how long it normally takes for these TIS DDs to show up online on the HBOS site please?

Do they show as separate DD mandates in your BOS online banking?

For those who have experienced the error codes, check your Tesco accounts to make sure that you have not set up more DDs than you intended....
