Yes very wasteful, 4 tesco accounts for me and OH, pulling from 6 Bank of Scotland accounts, so 12 letters today all individually posted.

Incidentally being pedantic, the letters confirm the request to add new linked accounts, not to say that the direct debits are in place, although I'm sure that you have done this? 👍

I set up my two DDs from BOS to Tesco for all three of my BOS accounts (very easily) - today I've received six letters from Tesco telling me that they have set up the DDs. One for each DD.
Same here, MrsM will be setting hers up soon :o

Loved the way when I was setting up the direct debits for one savings account, message came up asking if I wanted to add details to other accounts with them, so it was much quicker doing direct debits for other savings account as details were in the drop down list:beer:

  • Aye - that's right but that wasn't my point as these changes should be communicated to us - not scrabbling through websites.

    Thanks anyway though.

There's a mailing due to drop to existing customers.

These terms are on the website to communicate them to new customers.

Mine (one on each of Internet saver and Easy access saver) work perfectly.

And I have set up the necessary DDs for BOS this morning ( with some difficulty - the web site kept reporting errors) - could this be because it has been worn out by MSE users doing the same?:rotfl:

how did you set up your DD from BOS cant find how to do it on the site

You set up DDs in another account to Pull From the BOS account.

( to move money from BOS to somewhere else needs a standing Order setting up in the BOS account, however this isn't what is needed for the new T&Cs)

You set up the DDs on the savings accounts to pull money from the BOS accounts. See previous posts.

I don't think you can do it from Tesco bank accounts, I think it has to be from their Instant Access/Internet Saver accounts.
