Sadly, the readings are not always to be trusted. This was after a tariff change to Go Faster. The table should read 486 Peak and 2035 offpeak as of 28 December.k_man said:While it doesn't add meter readings to the bill, meter readings can be seen in the Octopus app (but not via the website).

Well after emailing them about the late bill, they just got back to me. Don't know why it was held up but they just issued what they have. The app still says the total is subject to review so I guess we'll see if next months is delayed.Still 3 day turnaround on the email response, but at least it appears to be improving from the week long wait I was seeing last year.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). As a rule I try to avoid downloading and cluttering up my Android with all the apps that the system wants to throw at me, especially financial. Question: do you find that the Octopus app gives any advantages over using just the web site alone? Having got acquainted with the latter I have no particular gripes and it seems to give me the information that I need, on my PC. All the more so if it is more "authoritative" than the app.Telegraph Sam

The app gives exactly the same information as the website.Telegraph_Sam said:As a rule I try to avoid downloading and cluttering up my Android with all the apps that the system wants to throw at me, especially financial. The only caveat being, if you are on the home mini trial where you can get 10min and 30min energy usage readings, these appear on the app and not on the website.0 -
I regularly get the monthly 30 min energy usage break-downs when I download the "explore your energy usage" data from the website to my PC (to check my Go Faster bills). From the title you would think that this is the same as on the app. I think that 10 min periods would be way too much detail for normal requirements. First I've heard about a home mini trial.Telegraph Sam

I don't think you can get the monthly reading data (albeit flawed) from the website.niktheguru said:

As I said I download the monthly data from the web site and this corresponds with the bills to within a penny or two. No reference to the stsrt and finish meter readings unfortunately which would allow a cross checkTelegraph Sam

Is it true that Citizens Advice Bureau no longer operates a price comparison tool (at least as far as Scotland is concerned)?Telegraph Sam
