Not been any manual reads submitted, by myself or meter readers just smart meter reads. Given there are no gaps in the usage graphs in the app, they still seem to be coming through OK.The bill is usually a few days later than the charges appearing on the account, but this is significantly later.I'll drop them an email but it's not urgent. I'm satisfied the figures are close enough and there's sufficient credit that there won't be any bill shocks if there's a small adjustment necessary.Thinking about it, it's possible its related to the fact my export readings still aren't listed for the third period after my export tariff began despite the export MPAN being listed on the bill. The main reason I wanted them to issue it as a proper bill was so I could ask them about that.@Umiamz it's the wholesale price of gas that's reduced compared to October, although the OFGEM cap has gone up (masked from consumers by the EPG) because it's retroactive and takes the October prices into account.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). I have complained to Octopus about the "favouritism" shown to some customers and not to others
re meter readings.
I have had delays with bills timing some time back but all seemed to get sorted out without me being out of pocket.
How my solar FIT income interacts with Go Faster is something for the gurus, way beyond me
I really must get my gas (wholesale, retail, capped prices) facts sorted out. Something tells me that if (if) the general trend is downward, Putin permitting, then at some point existing caps will cease to have an effect. Probably still some way into the future I suspect.Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -
What favouritism? My billing date is 2359hrs on the 27th, and my bill comes through on the 29th as the system needs to pull the last block of 30 minute data (recovered on the 29th) to construct a correct bill. I struggle to see how any automatic billing system could have favourites.Telegraph_Sam said:I have complained to Octopus about the "favouritism" shown to some customers and not to others

I've got no moans about the billing cycle.
Rather that it seems some customers get to cross check their meter readings in the invoices, and not others. Unless I have misunderstood something.Telegraph Sam

I don't believe anybody gets the meter readings for Go or Go Faster on the bills if that is what you are referring to.Telegraph_Sam said:I've got no moans about the billing cycle.

Yes, they do. Or, at least, I did when I was on Go Faster:peter3hg said:

I'm moving in February to a property on Octopus without smart meters
I am currently with OVO smart meter and the information you can get online is great although IMO the company is not
My question is what information can you see on Octopus website ?0 -
The statement above is based on a manual pull to recover missing data. I keep asking Octopus to restore meter readings to all statements but my pleas go unheeded. They are building up a host of potential problems when people switch away. People will just give the IHD reading without appreciating that some of the ToU tariffs have used 2 registers in the past.Umiamz said:

My feelings entirely. I think there was a limited period last year when the meter readings did appear on the invoices, but then the good times came to an end and they were there no more (for me). My point is that whether switching or not it must be a no-brainer to have the facility to check that what is charged on the invoices tallies with the consumption as recorded on the IHD's. I am continuing to plead ..Telegraph Sam

Well, they must have had to do a manual pull every single month because they are all like that whether I was on Tracker, Agile or Go Faster.[Deleted User] said:
