Did anyone else get dodgy results from the last two events in the big turndown? I suspect their calculations haven't taken into accounts the clocks went forward on the previous weekend.

I did too but to my benefit so I’m not complainingmasonic said:Did anyone else get dodgy results from the last two events in the big turndown? I suspect their calculations haven't taken into accounts the clocks went forward on the previous weekend.0 -
Does anyone have the Octopus bank account number and sortcode - I'd like to top up the account occasionally above the DD but it seems they are shy in giving this info out and only have an web page for additional payments.
Also, it's 5 April and the DD taken on 1 April still hasn't been applied to the account.0 -

I don't understand your logic here. What's the difference between topping up via debit/credit card and topping via bank transfer? Both will have exactly the same result.nadsat said:Does anyone have the Octopus bank account number and sortcode - I'd like to top up the account occasionally above the DD but it seems they are shy in giving this info out and only have an web page for additional payments.

I prefer using my bank app to manage payments in one place. Having to go to supplier web forms and fill in details is a pain.Umiamz said:

If I log into my account the (only) default option for making a top-up payment seems to be via credit or debit card. If bank transfer / BACS / Faster Payments is an option it must hide somewhere else.Telegraph Sam

Also, it's 5 April and the DD taken on 1 April still hasn't been applied to the account. The difference from the Octopus perspective is that they do not have to try matching random payments arriving in their bank with customer accounts. It removes the need to rely on the customer correctly putting an account reference on the payment.

Their payment systems are all outsourced to Stripe. Stripe does not offer this service.
