:hello: Good evening!
On here late today but have had a busy day researching a remortgage, going to try to get the mortgage down by paying in some of our savings and negotiating a new rate as our tie in ends next month, fingers crossed.
Got out with Penny the puppy into the big wide world today, she was fine with everything except the nasty beasties on wheels (cars) result one flaked out exhausted puppy! hopefully she will sleep well tonight.
I popped into our Oxfam charity shop today while oh was in the dentist and found a lovely bone china mug, coaster and teabag holder set in lovely lilac and pink - brand new in a lovely gift box for £2.99 also a fun puzzle maze - 6 sided again new in box for 75p so that is a couple of pressies put away. Also found another Jodi Picoult book for dd but that was £2.99.
Jackie O - you are wonderful and so very brave - I would be so proud of you if you were my Mum! but I am so proud to have you as an old style buddy!
Is it weigh in day today? Hope so as I have lost 2lbs! :j OH and I shared 1 portion of fish and chips between us instead of 1 each and filled the plate with a salad but still worried about what the scales will say tomorrow! Well done Mrs M :T
My legs are very achy today (obviously doing more than I thought with the puppy) so I am resting them on a raised pillow and pacing while researching mortgages (ok surfing and being nosey then:rotfl: )
Hope everyone gets a good nights sleep, including me as last night had a vivid dream about buying a place in the country outright with no survey etc (not something I would ever comtemplate or could afford) and finding a river running through the middle of the living room every night and a queue of folk dressed in their best suits and frocks asking where their booked table for 4 was and what was on tonights menu? :rotfl: weird huh! Was so glad to wake up!
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Frogga...you always have to ask the awkward question, don't you?? Can't Remember A ....... Thing.
Never heard of slapped cheek infection or whatever...is it anything like Bells Palsy? Hope that you get relief soon Kyle...did the doc give you anything to help?
DD4 and DGS2 are in the kitchen baking, they are going to a party in a friend's house tomorrow and have undertaken to bake...hope they clear up otherwise there will be flour all over my kitchen!
Birds are attacking my cooking apples so OH went up the tree on a ladder to add various noisy swinging bits to the Kerry flag which will remain until after All-Ireland Final on 21st. Am going to try drying some of them and would be glad of any advice anyone can offer...thinking of very low oven??
Irish stew turned out very well, haven't made one for years, had a large salad before it but still ate a good serving...not sure if I will weigh in at all tomorrow, haven't been very good this week and just want to kick myself...well done to those who have tried.
Night all
