Thanks. This will be my first 'home' and I can't wait to attempt to be a domestic goddess. Must be my hormones and nesting instinct (no I'm not pregnant!) :j0

"Those of you who always read and not join in - WHY NOT?? we don't bite - (well, watch out for aussielass) and have a natter??? "
Changed my mind about the dessert tonight, as I've just got the veggie box and have a ton of apples - apple crumble w/ custard.0 -
Morning! :hello:
Csarina I know you're having a rough time but the title of the Daily Thread today is surely a little OTT!! I hope you don't OD on us just yet.
JackieO... You're fab!! Nuff said.
Penny Pincher... Where do you amass so many clothes?? If we freecycled 14 bags there'd be none left.
Tru......Glad you've had such a fun week.
CrazyChik... Sorry you're ex is being awful and sorry re your DS illness Essex-girl.
Well I'm back in the office but was pretty organised before I left the house and 2 loads of washing are on the line, beds made, kitchen floor done and pea and ham soup in the SC.
Now I'm doing boring old accounts. (Or I'm supposed to be)
I'm hoping to have a successful weekend's foraging for mushrooms in the woods and see if we can find any decent blackberries up here in the frozen north. I plan to do a big batch cook again on Sunday so I can work for OH every day next week.
For those of you trying to lose weight the weight loss thread looks fab and I know that Murphy's no more pies Club in the arms is great fun and very motivational.
Maybe all the posters who are missing in action are scared they'll have to start weighing themselves if they post on here again.
Have a fun Old Style Friday

Morning everyone hugs to to those that need them.
ALL i'v done so far is put the wm on need to get some baking done made a few batches of bisciuts yesterday and they'v gone:eek: oh took the last few work with him came down to find ds eating hob nobs and a glass of milk oh well at least they will give him some energy. I think the novelty of being back at school has worn off for dd2 and dd3 dd3 didnt want her sandwhiches for school she wanted a hot dinner when i said no she cried even louder and said only poor people take sandwhiches to which ds told her if we were poor they'd be having free dinners . We went through all this last year with ds as he couldnt understand why i would'nt let him have school dinners and when i said we couldnt afford it he said oh thats ok just go in the office and get them free we had this almost every week. dd3 then anounced that if i threw all our food and money in the bin then we'd be poor and she'd be able to have a school dinner:rolleyes:0 -

Don't you love kids logic sometimes?? Would she be able to take a flask in or would it just be something else to lose?? Or is the hot dinner thing just to get to eat what the school offers and not not wanting sandwiches? (grass is greener scenario)0
