    Good Morning All

(((hugs))) to those who need them!

washing finally caught up! Just a few odds n ends to do!

Been having a hard week, with my ex causing trouble and Ive discovered the mental cruelty he's put on my kids whilst they was with him. I rang the social services for advise, but they wasn't interested, so its a matter now for the solicitor's. Which, Ive finally plucked up the courage to make an appointment. I go on Tues at 4pm!

Im so mentally tired with it all! He usually fetches the kids from school on Friday's, but I will now be fetching them! So that should be an interesting event later. Ive not been able to phone or text him, as he's blocked my number. So I had to write him a letter!

Got plenty of bacon in the fridge, so may have that for dinner. My appetite has not been too clever either!

Ive got tickets to the Renault weekend at Donnington. Hope to go to that on Sunday, all being well.

Anyway, best be off. Have a good Day
    Take care
    Love Emma xxx

    Morning All

Just eating breakie and then its off to the swimming baths. DD is much better behaved today and has chosen a new cup to drink her milk out of. She drank loads last night but this morning she isnt so keen, not to worried about it as hopefully less milk will ramp up her food intake which can be quiet hit and miss.

Made some bottom of the fridge soup last night, so we will have that when we get in from the baths. this afternoon I'm going to do the cleaning and make pizza for tea, of course I will be having a small portion and a large salad.

    Have a good day everyone

good luck to all those campaign members weighing today xxx

I'll have to see - I weighed myself on Monday and had gained 1lb after a huge huge huge lunch out with my parents on Saturday :o I haven't been too bad this week. I've gone over my calorie limit occasionally but I've always been under 2000, so hopefully the 5 chocolate hobnobs I ate with my fiance yesterday won't have done too much damage.

I'm eating mostly fruit and wholegrains today in preparation for a dinner party tonight - mmmm!

The big problem is that Crazy Ex Flatmate won't tell me his bank account details so I can do an online transfer for a final bill ... because then 'they' will steal his identity... I have to post a cheque, and I am a younglin who is welded to online banking. I'll have to buy a stamp, find the cheque book, find an envelope... and remember to post it! :rotfl:

He wouldn't get an Oyster card, because then 'they' would track him. He ripped up our voter registration forms because 'they' would... something! He's now an EX friend as well as an ex-flatmate! I'd hoped his crazyness was in the past and now he's made me angry again

MRSMCAWBER - I understand your bin frustrations, I could fill a book with stories of bin theft and the greedy filthy gits who nicked our bins and recycling bins.

Hope you all have a lovely day

  • I've decided I'm having chicken broth for lunch with veg in it. Not sure I'm gong to have a brulee tonight, might have yogurt instead.

    Morning :hello:

I've had a great week. Mr tru was in Harrogate for 3 days so I had our king-size bed to myself :D He came home yesterday and I wanted him to sleep on the sofa, I didn't want to give up my extra space :rotfl:

Had a lovely letter from Intrum Justitia saying 'Thank you for your recent payment, we are pleased to advise you that this payment is the final one expected by us in respect of the above account' woohoo-smiley.gif

Boots vouchers are finally back in stock on Pigsback, my £10 voucher turned up yesterday woohoo-smiley.gif

Booked our holiday, we're going next saturday. Master tru doesn't want to come (please pray for my house while we're away :D ). Miss tru would get bored on her own so we said she could bring a friend. We finally accepted that the kids aren't really kids anymore and don't want to go to dreamy little cottages in the middle of nowhere so we gave in and booked a chalet in Newquay CLICKY LINKY
Loads of hugs and kisses to PP for the link to the cottage guide website :kisses3:

I've given myself the day off work :D

  • Morning Chums,
well I had my outing yesterday to Maidstone Hospital and was told I have to start my chemo in a couple of weeks .Its 6 doses. 1 every three weeks and fairly high, followed by 4 weeks of radio therapy so I am going to be a bit of a walking chemical bomb for the next six months:eek: .Hair should fall out by mid- October along with eyebrows and lashes ,Well it saves on shampoo and mascara I suppose :D .It will return hopefully by next spring, so I can look forward to getting an Easter bonnet.:rotfl:
It a really mean discease cancer ,first along comes umpteen doctors who poke and prod you in very undignified places, then you're put to sleep, and when you wake you have a great chunk missing .Then when you think that things can't get any worse they proceed to fill you up with chemicals that make you feel even worse:eek: .Ain't life grand eh,still it could be worse I suppose. I can still stamp my foot and rage about lifes inequalities so that is on the good side .I haven't got to the stage of dribbling or chewing the carpet (yet).:rotfl: Well thats quite enough of feeling sorry for myself it won't change anything but a good rant does make me feel better at times .

Today I'm off to the Medway hospital for a bit of drainage work on my boob.I thought it would have stopped by now, but apparently my body hasn't noticed that my boob has vanished so it keeps on making fluid, and until it stops I have to go and get aspirated twice a week. Bit of a bind as I can think of better things to be doing (although I can't do them:rotfl: ) on a Friday morning. Still at least it will make me feel somewhat slimmer afterwards for a few days at least.
I am going to try and have a go at driving on Sunday ,my youngest DD Tess has had my car for the last month as I couldn't drive, and she is coming round on Sunday afternoon and I will have a go at driving her home ,fingers crossed, as that will cheer my up no end if I get my wheels back.I hate being stuck indoors carless.

I am going to get my golden (whiteish) locks cut very short next week so the children won't notice my barnet dissappearing. Not that they are too fussed ,they take everything that their daft old Granny does in their stride.

Well, looking out of my study window the sun looks as though it might just about get its a** in gear today and give us another glorious sunny day.
<<<hugs >>> to those who feel down and depressed , I know life can be a b*^ch, but think of the alternative, I have, and even with me lop-sided body and the aches and pains I'd still rather be here than anywhere else for a few more years:j
Take care everyone and have a nice day as our American cousins would say.:D

    Thanks Money~Bunny

Glad its not just me :j ...

Here the recycling system is brilliant..and idiot proof - well i would have thought so...

We each get yellow sacks for plastics etc
    a big wheely for paper
    a wheely for garden/organic
a wheely for anything that doesnt recycle

you take glass to the bins in the supermarkets.... but most bottles etc you take back and get a refund :T .....

I have paper sacks that all the veg peelings etc go into..not exactly difficult or a lot of work.... so our bins never get manky and i always swill them out when the have been emptied.... so i have a definite bee in my bonnet over these dirty sods that have loose nappies etc in bins and then expect me to accept their bin when they take my clean one  ... ooooh look ive started again :rotfl:

Anyway i have turned into a dustbin man stalker.. sat waiting for them to come and empty it... then dashing out to retrieve it :rotfl: god knows what theirs are gonna stink like in warm weather

ok im calm again now as my bin is nice and safe and has had its bath for this week :rotfl:

Not a good end to the week, DS got sent home from school early yesterday with tummy pains, the school were of the same opinion as me that there was nothing wrong physically with him but he had to come home anyway. He doesnt like school, no problems there has loads of friends and a nice teacher but he just doesnt like it and it always takes him a long time to settle in at the start of the new year. Got up this morning and he is complaining of the same pains so he is at home and has got a docs appointment at 10.10. I dont think he's actually lying to me but that he has made himself feel ill iykwim. Nothing I can do at the moment but dont know what to do if the doc confirms that he's ok and can go to school. It drives me mad and isnt pleasant dragging a crying child to school everyday. Oh well will just have to see how it pans out.

Did you see the news this morning - Madelines mum has been named as a suspect - couldnt beleive it.

Anyway best get on. Have chicken curry for dinner tonight and will make soup tomorrow along with lamb stew to have for my lunches next week.

Hope you all have a great day.

JackieO - I think of all the stuff you have to go through losing your hair must be the toughest. my friend had chemo and the wig they gave her made her look like dobbin the horse. fortunately we had a friend who was a hairdresser who cut and thinned it out to look more fashionable. It was very realistic to the point it even had highlights. :) your posts are such an inspiration and remind us all what is important in life.

today looks good for another day in the garden. started to take down an ivy which had taken over the garage (inside and out), so need to finish that plus there are an army of weeds to see to.
OH has promised to cut the grass but no doubt might have to do that too ;)

  • Jackieo, I know mind over matter works! If you decide now that you arent; going to get sick over the chemo, you won't. I know a little girl that had chemo and her parents didn't tell he she was supposed to get sick, so she didnt. Just keep imagining the chemo as knights on white horses kicking butt anf making you better, not making you sicker!

And splash out on a really funky wig, in a completely differnt style than your own hair - it will help keep your spirits up, get the best one you can afford, not a cheapie one.
