I'd like them to explain the following to a Judge - photo time-stamped 12:14:10 - windscreen shot, no PCN. Time-stamp 12:14:18 - windscreen shot showing PCN. Time-stamp 12:14:23 - windscreen shot no PCN? Notwithstanding his super shot mobile phone camera!0

Good point. Ghost ticketing proof.

Can I ask what ghost ticketing is??
I found this whole situation suspect from the get go. Not only the ticket being there, not being there and then appearing magically again, there are also pictures seemingly taken at the same time on different sides of the car.
All of this was also apparently done within minutes of me arriving back at my car (I did have a till receipt!)
My problem is now that I can't find the paper work from them but do still have their photos saved and my previous correspondence to them.
I'd happily take this to court because I don't see how they can defend it.0 -

I see.
This was the first time I'd ever used the car park and from reading after I received the ticket it had only recently become a P&D.
The ticket was on the car when I went to drive away but I have my suspicions that it wasn't there when I returned with my trolley and put my daughter in the car. I left the car again to return the trolley bay nearer the shop so turned my back on the car.
My daughter told me there was a person putting something on the car.0 -

I would advise the store you were shopping in about this and go to their CEO
At the same time report this to Trading Standards and ask them to investigate the parking company and the site0 -
The shop I was shopping in don't own the car park. I thought they did but the signage is so poor it just looked like a continuation of the store car park.
Incidentally I did contact them about it as, at the time, I thought it was theirs. They ignored me.0 -

I assume you will never return to the shop again
If you believe that ghost ticketing is happening, this is one for Trading Standards0 -
I'm happy to speak with TS about this but my immediate problem is I can't find the paperwork related to the incident (including the shop receipt that I kept) and they've now sent me a before action claim which I need to address within 14 days.
My inability to immediately find the documentation is worrying me as I cannot reference even the follow up letter after PCN (which masqueraded as an NTK even if it wasn't one officially) going forward.0 -
Everything in writing. What do you think they'll do when they put the phone down? Possibly not much more than they'll do after reading your letter, but at least you have a paper trail to go back to if you want to press later.I'm happy to speak with TS about this
Not sure what kind of shop this is, but some are able to re-print receipts if you can give them the date, approx time of the transaction and some details of the purchase(s) you made.I can't find the paperwork related to the incident (including the shop receipt that I kept)
Who are 'they'?they've now sent me a before action claim which I need to address within 14 days. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
