Further to this...today we have received a 'letter before claim'.
This is over a year since I got the stupid (swear word) ticket!!
Now what do I do?? Instructing a solicitor to defend this will cost more than the initial charge!!
I truly do believe that I could not lose this as their photos were suspect and it was not apparent to me at all that the car park wasn't part of another (which is free when you shop there).
I'm also convinced that they put the ticket on the car once my daughter was in it and we were about to leave.
So far they are chasing the registered keeper and not the driver.0 -

The letter is from CSB Law who I believe have written to us before. I've got their number, I know what they are about and I don't really want to pretend that I believe they are even a real outfit but they are registered (it was previously checked on this thread I believe).
I have been reading up about responses due to the letters inability to follow Practice Direction on Pre-action Conduct.
How can they still chase after a year though? Is there no limit on these things?0 -

At present, we're struggling to find the paperwork. It was all grouped together and labelled and now elusive.
From memory, they were timely with their first letter and it was received around a day before the deadline. That was from the parking company (I'm fairly sure)
The next was from a debt collector0
