I've bought my banana to get my free 500 points, how do I now redeem these 500 points (£5)? Do I get a voucher?

Also, I no longer need the card - should I wait to redeem these points first and also wait for the £30 voucher (signing on incentive)?

Got my new card....tried my first spend, including presentation of 500 pts voucher. The shop wouldn't accept this as they said they are a franchise (M&S in petrol station). UNFAIR!!

Received mine today! So haven't got to do anything else for the £30 m&s vouchers? They'll just follow automatically?

OK, according to the original link...

"It's usually sent within a few weeks but it's promised by 22 August at the latest. You must use it by 31 August to spend in-store or online on food, clothes, homeware, flowers etc"

So we shall wait and see when it arrives!

Waiting for my voucher, which will be here anytime up until August 22nd.
Tonight I applied for a M&S current account, you get £100 voucher when you switch (thanks again Martin :money:), but now you also get an extra £10 voucher every month you stay with them for up to a year and have at least 2 direct debits going out.
I am switching the account that I use for bills, so this is a great way to pocket £220 :j :j

Applied on May 9th using the promo link and spent my first transaction in M&S
to get the 500 M&S points

It's now 21st July - no voucher and no M&S points.

Spoke to the customer service team today - the member of staff I spoke to seemed very unsure and unclear about the hole thing but eventually I think he came to the conclusion that I will receive both the voucher and the 500 points by email any time between the 25th June and 22nd August.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I had to give in the 500 point voucher that was enclosed with the credit card with my shopping today. It isn't completely clear that you need to give in that voucher with your transaction in order to receive the £5 voucher with a later mailing. Certainly the till lady didn't understand and said that I couldn't use it as I needed to spend at least £5. Had to go to customer services in the end

Now just waiting for the £30 and £5 vouchers to get posted to me.

The £30 voucher comes by email.

The 500 points is via a voucher that came with the card that you need to hand over in store. This will then be converted to a £5 voucher in the next points mailing
