I'm not voting because in the grand scheme of things it doesn't bother me who the police commissioner is. Perhaps that's not the attitude I should have but I do vote for all other proper elections.

Sorry forgot to say welcome to our newest flylady, alibo

Been round mils and done her cleaning, then put the dolls house and table back into her spare room that she asked us to bring into the lounge last weekend, apparently she can't get used to it being in the lounge it makes her jump and haunts her every time she looks at it. So it's now back in the back room to sit unplayed with for another few years.
Going to wash my hair now Then I'll go and drip dry in the playground. It will hopefully be dry enough to colour this afty.

Ebeast parcel sent.. rice krispies bought.. I now have a varied diet.. cereal, soup and toast! .. :)
I was going to go to wool shop but my leg won't walk that far so voting is out too as thats across the road from wool shop..

    Cuppa made..

I need to dangle out some washing and I might kill myself dragging Henry out to play..

My super-bargainous sofa arrives in 8 weeks so I have decided the middle room ha to be emptied, decorated and recarpeted before then.. which means I need to ebay for the carpet money.. and do a LOT of delegating!

OH not back yet but said he might go straight for Dot if they faff too much.

I need some boxes for stuff stacking, it makes sorting it all easier.

We've been and voted. We currently have a "hung" council (and imho some of them should most assuredly be hung) and Mr LW and I are concerned as to what will happen if the "wrong" lot triumph.

A week's cruise of the Norwegian Fjords - we sail on 21st May, from Tilbury.

Is it Shed Day today, LW? Calming vibes coming your way...
Tomorrow; we're all ready for them (or as ready as we'll ever be) - neighbours have been informed, in case they wonder what's going on.
I shall be busying myself with the needs of Dotty Cairn Terrier.;)

Not having a brilliant day today - it took an hour and a half for me to get from being in bed with my first cup of coffee to being bathed and dressed and ready to meet polite company. This included some extremely colourful language on my part, particularly when it came to putting my top on. This is all down to this dratted shoulder.:( Please, any Deity within earshot, I need it better than this for my holiday. Pretty Please??

LW in-laws did the Norwegian fjords cruise on the marco polo about 6 years Ago, they loved it.

Our vote was just for police commissioner not a local council one.

Got to hairdressers to be turned away again as she's had a phone call to go Drs for more bloodtests. So I've been rescheduled for next week.

Having a cuppa and a few pages of a book as I'd have done that there anyway.

I've voted as we had council ones too.

Finished paid stuff for the week. 10 working days left :D actually made a good dent in some stuff today, too.

Kitchen man came. Hmm. Didn't get a great vibe from him really. On the plus, there was no sell, literally measured and asked what my essentials were. He sniffed at my wanting white, not cream, and again at not granite work tops (I hate the ones my mum has). He did have a good idea about the entrance. But just seemed very, err, unenthusiastic. I know it shouldn't mean anything but the lady at the other place was bubbly and excited and listened to what I wanted - it's just felt happier, lol.

Still if they come up with a nice modern plan then I will give it consideration...

So, my current kitchen is neat and clean - he had to look under the sink for the stop tap, and happily it is tidy and clutter free :)

Apart from that all I've done is empty the DW :o

Going to make an early dinner as DS has football later - we are going to take a picnic blanket with us :T

Go with your gut feeling of who you want to do the kitchen once you've got the quotes in bossy.

Right enough procrastination here I'm goi to do a HHCx2 of ironing.

front room sparkled.. toys put away, sofas vacuumed, fire screen binned.. 2 binbags of rubbish filled.. I have my eye on a pile of papers in there to sort next.

hallway vacuumed.. and the door step and the polystyrene balls that blew in my garden.. I vacuumed my garden, yes!

    Stairs vacuumed

    Washing all washed and outside.

I have now decided I need to replace the carpet in the middle room so it needs emptying and repainting.. and the hall/stairs/landing needs painting too, whether it likes it or not! .. all before my new very bargainous sofas arrive on 24th June.. emptying the middle room will be like climbing a mountain in your underwear and blindfold! ..

OH is outside binning weeds and broken pots under threat of growls..

Food to sort for the beastlets and then I'm doing the back room .. should I wash winter coats that are outgrown and stash them for ebaying in September?? YAY!! washing!

    DW needs doing too...

Oh.. I put my new doorbell up too.. and eyed up the front door to be painted.. I might want it red.. I like red doors.. its currently green, I hate green.. and I've lived here 11 years and not painted it at all.. ooh... I can get OH to wash the window above the door and stick a sheet of perspex or something over it to keep it clean and work on the draught for next winter if I paint the door... yes yes... busy the man beast!
