[QUOTE=nickiAlbio - Welcome to the thread :) There's only me and my teen DD here (plus our dog) so the house usually stays pretty tidy which makes things easier for me. My morning routine, once DD has left for school, is gather laundry and if there's enough for a load put one on, make the beds, tidy any stray items away in the bedrooms and bathroom, wipe over the bathroom sink, tidy the kitchen and wash up if there's enough dishes to warrant it. Evening routine is tidy up the livingroom (or the dog might snack on something in the night again ), tidy the kitchen, make sure there's bread for the morning and if I'm particularly organised I might get the stuff out for breakfasts/packed lunch the next day. :[/QUOTE]

I'm incredibly impressed; that sounds like a week of flying never mind a daily routine!!

Ironing all done - I didn't actually take this long, we've eaten, taken ds1 to a gig, had a bath a cuppa and read the paper.
Our city is now a mass of blue and white where ever you look- you'd almost think we were celebrating for some reason. ( I'm not a huge footie fan and had to be told by a child at school the day after the results came in)

    Hi Everyone,

Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!![/STRIKE]
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!!
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Rummage ALL the junk from one shelf and sort through it..
Sort through a toybox chuck out all the things they don't need any more.. charity or freecycle or whatever.[/STRIKE]
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doorshalf done i need to buy one of those magic erasers
    Extras

Honestly it takes less than half an hour a day. The most time consuming bit, which I've not included in that, is washing dishes and I usually delegate that to DD ;):rotfl:

So I went and voted, came home and we went out for our walk. I walked back in exhausted nearly 4 hours later, with 7 miles covered, my feet aching like crazy, covered in mud as Zack had found a muddy puddle then jumped up on me, and a minor injury to Zacks back paw. Most annoying though is I'm sunburnt despite putting factor 30 all day suncream on! Normally thats sufficient, but not today :( I think maybe I just missed a few patches or I put too thin a layer on. Next time I'll be more careful.

So since I got home I have washed Zacks paws & put a temporary sock bandage on his injured one, just to give the antiseptic I put on it a chance to work. I figured doing all 4 would be less stressful to him than just grabbing and dealing with one. Considering he was snoozing while I did it I think I was right. I've done a batch of dishes, made tea, dealt with the Mr A delivery (all 3 items :rotfl:), put 3 wash loads through, put the covers back on the sofas and dealt with a moody teen. So maybe not the most productive night, but at least something is done.

Tomorrow I'm scrapping the walk plan as I don't think my feet can take it and I know Zacks can't. Instead I'm going to fly, including the front of the house, and get some work done in the hopes I can get ahead before Monday. I think I'll get the livingroom curtains washed as early as possible and out on the line so they can go back up and the net can be washed.

Now though, its bed time before I fall asleep on the sofa.

Morning all. Up early again because of doggies but I don't mind. Today I have a whole day to myself and no real plans. So far I have just fed me and the dogs and watered the plants in the greenhouse - in my dressing gown, good job no one else is up to see me.

Washing up next and then whatever the day brings or whatever takes my fancy.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Been up since silly o'clock dealing with an upset doggy tum _pale_ Not sure the huge long journey yesterday agreed with everyone...Jazee you are not alone...

I'm pleased with the new dog cages - perfect for the job. Small and Tiny both climbed in and shut the door, which made me laugh. If only, some days.....I'm sure it would be frowned upon...

I've got the Friday flingage feeling...it's the toy room today I think.

Good luck with the Day of the Shed Wolfy - sorry ladies, but my brain can't remember all the other news. I'll catch up later, promise x

    Morning all.

I was so tired when I got in from church last night that I just drank a cuppa and then fell into bed at 10.00. Most of yesterday's list got crossed off (including voting) and I also had a 1.5 hour visit from the vicar and a 30 minute phone conversation with another friend, as well as persuading/helping DH to clear the things that fell out of his suitcase from the DR and kitchen ;)

    So today looks like this:
    - give DH the go-ahead to book overnight stay next week so that we can visit friends up north - DH has chosen somewhere but I find the iPad version of the website very awkward so will check it out on my PC
    - check finances and register for BS internet banking for new Flexi-ISA, as I'm using it as a normal in/out account with more interest than the bank would pay me :money:
    - more filing of paperwork that has piled up on the spare bed - where does it all come from?
    - put away aired washing from yesterday
    - S&S bathroom
    - S&S kitchen
    - dust LR
    - main job for today is lots more reading
    - visit friend recovering from back op and...
    - ....on the way, call in at MrS Local to get bonus points :money:
    - put papers together for tomorrow's meeting
    - weed the rest of the drive
    - dig out some dandelions that have reappeared in the front garden
    - HHI this evening (no choir practice)
    - ring DS1 just to say hello

Narc0, the fairies are twittering in the ash tree outside my window :)

Hope everyone has a good day x
