I hate today... why is it not tomorrow already???
Crap from Drs, crap from Argos, crap from hospital x3, crap from bank... I want to drown myself in grown up pop (I don't, ever, but I do want to and sometimes wish I did once in a while) Tomorrow I am hoping to be filled with 'bring it the flock on!'.. right now I feel like a sniveling fool.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Ironing finally cleared. It took a few hours like I thought. Now I need to go get washed & changed (I'm all sweaty and smelly now
) then go to my sisters...chippy chips on the way home for tea I think
Then I can get on and juggle my Mr A order which is coming tomorrow evening! Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hope tomorrow is a much better day pigpen.
Not achieved a huge amount as not been home long, lads are going to a concert tonight (less than jake) but it's only local so it just meant early tea and possibly a phone call later for lifts back.
Got tomorrow morning to play catch up on all flying I've missed so far.
Hope all are as well as can be.SPC~12 ot 124

I'm all confused this week, I don't know what day it is

I've been at the paid stuff today, but tonight have loaded DW and wiped round kitchen, emptied bin and put laundry pile away. Kiddies sorted a drawer of doom and filled a carrier bag for flinging. Mostly tat toys.
Tomorrow I'm wfh again but with an interval of kitchen man coming (hence the cleaning
) to measure up and capture wish list. I also want to sneak out to @ldi or somewhere to buy some food. Very much a mish-mash tonight. "Boodles" (noodles made from butternut squash) are not good!!!
(Hopeful) new college just called inviting me to group interview type thing next week :T woohoo. They said nothing to prep, just bring my certificate from the last one and my driving license.
Glorious day today, if a bit breezy. Kiddies played out again tonight, they had the ribbon sticks and were dancing around the garden with them
And joy - my magnolia which once upon a time was very poorly, is flowering for the first time ever! 4 or 5 glorious white blooms! Lovely!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Hi All,
I'm new to this thread. I'm a mum of two who is always in a right mess and overwhelmed with life in general. I'm a self confessed messy person. I do try..... over the years I've attempted following the american Flylady but not had much success with that.
Can I ask what your morning and evening routines are? where should I start to keep it simple?
Jumped in today and am quite proud of myself..

Alibo keep it simple, and once you are on top of it all, keep on top of it, baby steps and all that.

Welcome Alibo, good start. No good asking me about routines as I'm totally random. It probably helps to have routine though, they say if you do something repeatedly about 20 times it becomes a habit so you don't need to think about it........actually I do have one sort of routine; I tend to clean the ensuite handbasin in between cleaning my teeth and getting into bed!!! Big deal huh?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.0
