We're in south Yorkshire, partner bought this place nearly 30 years ago and it's a lovely area to live in, and we're near outstanding schools and thigs sell pretty quickly round here.

We were planning a final decision today but we've another four viewings today/tomorrow so we've decided to let them go ahead, then that's the end of it so we'll get something accepted over the weekend. Cash buyer viewing tonight - fingers crossed...

Our house has been on the market nearly two weeks now, we live in an area that two months ago was touted in the news as having the fast selling property in the country. We are in a race to sell as buying a new build that someone (albeit only one) else is interested in, they haven't viewed yet but are in a position to proceed.

I am on absolute tenterhooks, have reduced the price but can't really afford to accept much less than our reduced price now. Only two other houses for sale in our area in the same price brackets both a fair bit more but nothing is moving.

Had 4 viewings in the first week but nothing since and those viewing s were people who were on the EA's books. No interest coming in from RM.

Well our house was reduced at 11am yesterday and already have 2 viewings booked already - one for sunday, her house sale is due to be completed end of July according to EA. Second on Monday, she isnt from this area so is travelling about 40 mins, she doesnt have anything to sell so unsure if she is a FTB or buying a property to let perhaps?

I touched up some paintwork today and tomorrow will be a tidy up and a tip run Really hope one of these viewings goes well enough for a good offer x

Well we have accepted an offer after 2 weeks on the market! Eek! Looks like I need to move onto the thread for people looking for a house to buy...

Good luck kazd, so difficult knowing what to do and trying to second guess everyone

Were in a fortunate position - two offers currently on the table (one non-disclosable so that other doesn't know how much it is). Going to hopefully agree tomorrow.

However we are having slight doubts about the place we've put an offer in on :eek: going to drive over tonight to check pub noise etc - if we can hear music from the pub itight be a deal breaker for us hate messing people round, but fortunately while thy acvepted our offer, they havent actually taken theirs off the market. I feel awful if we had to say no but at least nobody's committed to anything yet and it's best to pull out now but hopefully we won't need to...

Well best of luck with your sales. Can I ask how much you reduced yours by. We reduced ours by£10k which is not massive but we still expect someone to offer less. Tbh we need every penny we can get as we are going from being more or less mortgage free to a mortgage until we retire.

This will be our third Saturday on sale but the second without any viewings booked in. I hate this it is so emotional.

Well we've driven out to our new place, surprised how quiet it was actualy so we may be fine to go ahead after all :j :j Will go and spend a few hours hanging around tomorrow too (in the local area, not just round the outside of the house :eek: :rotfl: )

Quite bored of keeping everything clean and tidy now house doesn't feel like ours any more

Kazd ours was marketed at £125,000 then reduced to £120k, then £114k then now offers over £107k - Its so disheartening really!

We have another viewer tomorrow - so 3 in 2 days!

My friend messaged me today, it turns out her sister is wanting to view and is the one booked in on Monday. She asked if we were in a position to move quickly and if we had found somewhere (we have) as her sisters kids start at the local school in September! Lets hope she likes it!

Good luck! The way I see it, she really likes it on paper otherwise she wouldn't have bothered getting her sister to message you. That's someone who is already thinking about moving in

I thought so too!

Well the first viewing today was a no show but i called the EA who spoke to the viewer and they were very apologetic as they thought it was tomorrow! No harm as we had another viewing at 1.30 today. The lady has rescheduled at 10 tomorrow.

The people who came this afternoon were very keen, stayed about 1/2 an hour but havent sold their property yet.

So tomorrow we have the lady who forgot today coming and the keen lady at 12 as planned!
Fingers crossed this week is the week we get A good offer. Would be nice not to do viewings with all 3 kids at home under my feet!
