Hello, joining the thread, just recently lost our second buyer with our property been on the market since the beginning of the year. Getting a bit frustrating!

    It's so frustrating isn't it!

I'm only heading into week 3 but nothing as of yet. I'm hoping for good weather this coming week as I want to tidy up the front a little.

Really annoying as the house I want is sat there for sale taunting me!

    Any news yet Dave?

We've had a great couple of days (although very aware that things can still go horribly wrong, very quickly). On Thursday we had a full price offer on Mum's house, which we accepted. Then we called the EA and put in an offer on what will hopefully be our future home. On Friday morning, the EA called and said that our offer has been accepted!! I'm desperately hoping that the chain doesn't collapse, as the house is perfect for us. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but finding that a little tricky.

  • Hopefully all will go smoothly cinders :)
  • It's been 2 weeks of no viewings for us. Feel much calmer about it but still feel a bit worried & impatient. We have seen a lovely house that we would like to buy but obviously we need to sell ours first. I think I will follow suggestions given to me earlier in the thread & re instate the dining room & paint more neutral & get the ea to retake some pics.

I hope everyone else is doing well. It's gone very quiet in here

Hi Chrissie sounds like a good idea - we had viewers over the weekend but they haven't sold theirs and were viewing lots of properties so I am not holding my breath!

So here starts another week wonder what this one will bring. Originally booked week off to move but pulled out of buying that house due to to much work. Lost buyer for mine as well. Who's now renting a few doors away having paid 6 months up front. Only wish they had offered a thousand or so more for here, they could have moved in and I could have gambled on renting for a bit.
My property been back on market for one week, had one viewing but heard nothing back.
Viewed another property we really like but can't offer as haven't sold here. Wondering whether to ask what they would except and to see then if I could reduce here. But at same point it could weaken my bargaining with them knowing how interested we are. dilemmas!
