Well done arkers on hitting your target and congrats to the joint SOTWs and the losers this week :T:T
It was a gain for me this week, completely deserved so I wasn't too miffed. I'd been lax with the speed this week and not been eating properly. Grazed on rubbish and went over my syns a few times in the week so no surprise really. Hope to do better next week.
I'm loaded with cold today so feeling pretty ugh. I think it's a mixture of hayfever and the fact that I gave blood yesterday (don't know why but it always gives me the sniffles). So I'm in bed now with a tropicana trying to get some Vit C into me.
GFB I feel your pain - the humidity wrecks my hair as well, I'm not too bad at home here but when I'm abroad I'm just like a big ball of frizz
Those coconut macaroons sound yum denise but I just know if I made some I couldn't just eat 2!0 -
Hi all
Well I started the new class tonight, but I was over an hour early and they were just setting up. The class time and consultant are both changing - from next week - the SW website was already showing the new time and consultant (not like them to be so efficient!)
So both consultants were there plus a consultant from another local group who was helping out. I paid for a 6 week countdown, got weighed, the new consultant went through the plan with me and I left, just as people started turning up.
The consultant seemed very nice, she's slim so presumably at target as SW consultants have to have followed the plan.
And .... I got a text message today from my previous consultant saying they'd missed me in class. Like I'd only missed one, not three!

Evening all. Hope everyone's doing well
Sorry I don't get a chance to check in more often at the moment.
Weighed in this evening with a lovely 3.5lb loss
Very pleased with this because it means I'm into the next stone bracket, have reached my 2 stone award, and am now half a pound below what I had initially set as my target :j
Going to keep going a bit longer though - have provisionally reset my target at another half stone off. In reality though, I'm going on holiday in a month, so what I'm thinking I will probably do is keep going until my holiday, then whatever weight I'm at before I go away will probably be my final target weight. I'll then go away, probably put a bit of weight back on :rotfl: But then come back, try and get back to the pre-holiday weight and then go to maintenance
In other news, I tried to make the cauliflower pizza from the latest mag tonight. It looked lovely when it came out of the oven, but when I tried to transfer it to the plate it just fell to bits :rotfl: Has anyone else had more success?!0 -
Great result Rebster :j :j

A whole week without Syns and 5 1/2 off!!! Bloody hard but worth it!
:j:j well done everyone else:T0 -
Hollowhead. I thought you had to have your Syns to help you lose the weight , but, you seem to have lost without any used Well done.:T
My menu went through the window today so it's not worth putting on.
See you all tomorrow:):)

Great losses, well done:T
wiz I think the reason it's not advised to go without syns is that it's really hard to go without treats for any length of time so you're more likely to give up.
Well done on starting your new group lois Hope this one works out for you. Conversely, when I started they'd changed the time of the group to earlier but not put it on the website. I turned up in the middle of Image Therapy so I just had to try and follow what was going on as best I could. I had the books and managed to lose in my first week. Then I had the introductory talk in week 2. Seems a long time ago now.:)0 -
Checking in with -1lb this week please. Didn't quite make my target for this challenge as 1lb short with 1lb off 3 stone. On holiday from Saturday so that's my last weigh in til I'm back. Then I'll start again.
Well done to everyone esp SOTWs, losers and Arkers for reaching target. Hopefully I'll join you soon as target was 3 stone.0 -
We have a taster session this week as well, our group is Saturday morning at 9.00am, so something breakfast inspired would be nice. Was thinking about taking a small pot of overnight oats, but wouldn't mind doing something else - any ideas please? (Nothing too complex though!). Thanks.
Hope everyone is ok this week. I feel so bloated and sluggish at the moment, honestly don't think I've lost anything this week, TMI I know, but I've been having problems going to the loo!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -
Another one feeling bloated, sluggish and too warm here.
Off to weigh in tonight, would be happy with 2lbs, can't see it being anymore than that.
Branflakes, Alpro & Banana for Breakfast
Lunch is a tuna salad and then dinner will be decided after I see what I eat at tasters!0
