Lush - did I miss your result this week? I've looked back but I still can't see it..

sorry Shala I mustn't have posted - it was -1.5lb :) first time in a very long time I'll hopefully pass my challenge target! next weigh in is Thursday and I'm hoping for a 1/1.5lb loss based on eating extra at the weekend - would be made up to lose 2lb though and get myself properly on track for the countdown.

Money tight this month as I've bought the countdown and father's day presents so having to be a bit more restrained with the groceries sadly - so much tempting fruit out there I feel I'm missing out!

    today:
breakfast: carrot porridge made with 175ml milk from hea plus cinnamon and a little sweetener. 1 syn mocha
mid morning: tea from costa (said no to a lush looking juice or milky coffee!) snack a jack 2.5
    lunch: salad - all free.
mid afternoon: boiled egg and strawberries (not together obviously) freddo 5
tea: small baked sweet potato, some chicken, carrot, spinach, green pepper 2syn for coleslaw
evening: caramel snack a jack 2.5syn

body magic: i'd done 6000 steps and 60 active minutes before 11am as we did our big office move today! in total I've done 102 active minutes and 10086 steps :)

looking forward to getting my new journal on Thursday; even got a pen reserved for it (yes I'm that sad!) also got my tasters planned for me to make tomorrow night ready for group on Thursday (going to cheat and buy some grated carrot as I need a fair bit and I don't have time to stand and do it this week!)

    plan for tomorrow:
breakfast: strawberries with melon and peach slices with vanilla quark
mid morning: 1 hi fi light (half heb)
lunch: going to quickly cook some pasta now and have it with some free fromage frais, tuna, cucumber, green pepper, spring onion and spinach I think
mid afternoon: 1 hi fi light (second heb)
tea: probably pretty similar to today. not very inspired atm! going to go through the books I bought and make a list of meals I want to try next month!

You just reminded me Shala, we have tasters tomorrow night too.

Money tight here too, so I know how you feel!

Glad you can find some fruit!! With the hot weather here, every time I go to Asda there is hardly any fruit or salad left as that is all everyone is eating!

We've got tasters tomorrow morning but I didn't find out until after I'd been shopping! Found out from our Facebook page. Hunted around for something I could make with stuff I've already got in and found coconut macaroons. The theme is for something sweet & low syn - I don't do much sweet stuff other than the occasional jelly or roulade.

Used the SW recipe which makes 30 macaroons @ 2 syns each but I've made them much smaller and ended up with 80 so works out at 2 for 1.5 syns. Have some left over which won't fit into the tin for group so DH and I tested some last night (I had 4 for 3 syns, no idea how many DH ate!). There is still a small box of them left for us.

    Another EE day today:

B - boiled eggs, asparagus wrappped in bacon
L - jacket potato, left over mixed bean goulash
D - 2 sausages (from local butchers @ 0.5 syn each); mash & veg. Will make some syn free onion gravy to go with it.

    HEA - milk
HEB - not sure but possibly couple of Alpen Lights later

Syns: sausages 1; coconut macaroons x 2 1.5 maybe more!

    Morning everyone!

I've got a taster this week. Think I'm going to try the honey cheese cake from the Med book. Hopefully it won't be too much faff!

Not sure what to have for lunch today. Fed up of jacket potatoes and salads. ANy suggestions? Preferably something quick? Popping to shops in a bit so can pick up stuff I need.

Hope you sorted out your lunch musogirl. It's easy to get into a rut.

I've cooked a gammon joint for later (and the freezer) and a big pot of soup is currently on the go. Not really soup weather but I can't waste the stock and it'll give me another lunch option. Pleased with myself that I've had several large glasses of squash today so keeping well hydrated.

Scratching around a bit for Speed but I don't want to buy in too much with the holiday coming up next week.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: cold meat, fried potatoes and Speed veg, pickles
D: gammon, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms and asparagus
    Syns: none planned

P.S. Still have broadband at the moment. DH thinks they've sorted a reprieve until the work can be done. Personally I think it's just another c*ck up but making the most while it lasts.:)

That means you would have been another joint SOTW! :T

looking forward to getting my new journal on Thursday; even got a pen reserved for it (yes I'm that sad!)

Well I'm sad too then - it really bugs me to have different colour ink or different kinds of pen in a diary or notebook. I went to fill in my food diary last night and my pen wasn't with it - DH had borrowed it and then put it away, in the drawer where we keep bits and bobs....
