1/2 lb loss and I'm fine with that. Had the Chinese on Thursday night, off plan lunch on Friday, and the bbq last night. Plus all the emotional turmoil and no exercise.
Going to be spot on this week. Got my lovely little planner from my 12 week countdown and will be writing in it every single day!0 -
Hi there another lovely warm and sunny day, a little hot, but must not grumble as we don't get this weather often..
This is what I had today...
Breakfast.. Special K A/B mixed berries.
Lunch.Leek and potato soup, ham salad on 2 crustless w/m slices.6syns
Dinner. Jersey potatoes, steak, mixed veg gravy 2 Syns clementine.
Extras.. 2 Ryvita X 2 6 Syns.
14 Syns.0 -
Topgirl don't take this the wrong way but how did that fit in your mouth? it must have been really tall - did you have to deconstruct it first? sounds nice though
My mouth is hugeIt's easy round the outsides, because not everything touches the edge of the barm, then I took the onion rings out and ate them then squashed it and went at it. It was AMAZING.
Back on it today (the less said about yesterday the better, I had the planned uber healthy tea, but offset it with an extra HEXB and a bottle of rose, but really, who heard of starting back on a diet on a Sunday?)
So today then
B - Bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich on Great White (HEXB + 2)
D - Chicken and egg salad (80% salad, from Fatso's and huge) and a mugshot.
T - Top Bloke currently cooking Tastefully Vikkie's SW chicken jalfrezi with SW chips and rice. I'll have fruit if I feel it's necessary, but it has peppers, tomatoes and onions in.
HEXA - Milk in brews
HEXB - Bread
Syns - Great White (2) and beef space raiders (3?)
BM - a good 40 minute walk to the furthest supermarket and back with four bags for life of shopping
Tomorrow's plan:Bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, hash browns (3) HEXB toast
D) Either leftover jalfrezi on a jacket potato or ham and egg salad
T) Tagliatelle in meaty sauce (5 syns in four portions, for dry white wine in sauce) and fruit
HEXA - Milk in brews
HEXB - Toast
Syns as above
BM - Usual commute, plus Top Boy has a football match, so some touchline dancing :cool:0 -
Managed at work ok today(my first work day since joining SW.)
Had overnight oats with soya yoghurt and lots of fruit in for breakfast.
Took a tub of cous cous with BBQ jackfruit on plus loads of rocket leaf and pepper slices.
Went to Asda by work at lunch and somehow managed to spend £10 on fruit, vege and salad! Cashier saw all my healthy food and some fry light and said was I at slimming world:rotfl:
Dinner was new potatoes, yet more vegetables and peppers and a Frys quinoa falafel style burger/bake 1.5 syns - wasn't keen on that but love the rest of the Frys range (vegan range from the health shop)
Got rest of the potatoes and jackfruit for lunch plus salad and alarming amounts of fruit - compared to what I use to have.
In case anyone's wondering what is jackfruit its a tinned fruit I got from the Chinese shop - and you dry fry it/marinade it in BBQ sauce/spices and it makes BBQ pulled jackfruit - a vegan savoury dish that pulls apart - some say a bit like pulled pork! It's so nice and 100g is one syn plus whatever BBQ sauce you use etc... mine works out at 2.5 syns per portion and I made about 6 portions.
Might have an Alpro Go On black currant yoghurt later they were on offer at Tesco and are amazing like a cheesecake to me!
I might not be paying to go to club with having vouchers but I'm spending a lot more on food shopping!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Hope everyone is ok.
Our consultant is good at motivating people, although when we have image therapy it is difficult to say what you want to say, because she does like to talk a lot herself! I handed in my food diaries for the first 4 weeks or so, but didn't get any feedback from them. I still fill them in, but just file them for my own reference and write what my loss or gain was for that week at the top of each one.
She doesn't text us or anything like that, unless of course we contact her. The group does have a facebook page which is quite active and a few member and the consultant post up picture of their meals, although it does annoy me when people post pictures and then nothing to say what it is!
I generally get to speak to most of the group as I cover the weigh desk and the shop when needed. This Saturday I'm going to be learning the pay desk as well. As the lady was off sick last week and the consultant was having to flit between the shop table and the pay desk (I was on weigh desk).
Would love to try SP but still can't get my head round it.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -

The way I think of it is: EE is one third each of protein (meat/fish), carb and Speed. SP is half and half protein and Speed. No free food(unless protein or Speed) is allowed if you're doing it 100% so you shouldn't have things like yogurt or bananas. There are grey areas like would it be OK to have a flavoured full fat yogurt as syns but even if you did have an odd banana or a few potatoes you'd still be closer to SP than EE.0 -

Managed to sleep through alarm this morning, unheard of first day back after holidays  putting it down to the stress of Saturday
Went to bed once son had texted he was on the bus home (12.30am) hubby collected him from bus station about 3.15 so home by 3.30am, which coincidentally was time I needed the loo so got to see him.
He's travelling to download on Friday while I'm at work, as Friday's are full on, I won't have time to think about so hopefully he will be there when I get home.
Finally enjoying the sunshine too :cool:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good morning everyone,
I couldn't believe it a week after my holiday and reporting a loss of 4 lbs and I'm now at my target!!!!!
I stepped on and off three times to be absolutely sure I, but yep it's confirmed.
Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone. As someone who is going it alone I couldn't have done it without you.
