For once I have ve ry little healthy food in the fridge.
I need to motivate myself to go shopping at some point.
Our local shop is Sainsbury's and they are so expensive.
Dont even hav ve any milk for a cuppa!!
Can you get Asda deliveries where you are? You can book a slot for as little as £1 and even for the next day early in the week. They are cheaper than Sainsburys, and they have a policy that if they have to substitute something you get it at the same price as the item you ordered so sometimes (if you're lucky) you get a more expensive product.

Hello all - didn't get online all weekend - WI Saturday was a sts but I didn't get on the chart for last week as I was too late so can you put me down for a 1 lb loss please shala
Had a blow out weekend....first time since I started SW (12 weeks) we had guests over and we always take them out for a meal and I had 3 courses and wine and then last night hubby talked me into sharing a chicken maryland with him (with chips and gravy!! so I'm getting out my SW books and I'm eating from the EE plan book all week - strictly by the book. Hopefully will redeem myself come Saturday again.
Food today:(actually trying to eat a little more this week as I was falling into my starving myself mode again - a long habit I've been trying to break...it certainly wasn't helping my weight loss (or non weight loss!!)
B: 2 x boiled eggs, 0 % greet yog and some fruit
L: (is it 4 ryvitas as a HEB?) - will find that out) with light philly (HEA) and strawberriesSW fish and chips and mushy peas with a bit of salad
Syns - will be in the breading of the fish and milk in tea - might push the boat out and look for a treat or something0 -
Hi peeps, can I join you again please? I joined this thread a couple pf months ago when I was doing SW online but left because I wasn't sticking to it.
5 weeks ago I joined a SW class and have been going every week and have lost 11 pounds so far! I'm so pleased :-)
The only downside is that our leader isn't the amazing, supportive type I often hear other SW fans talk about. I sent her a message last week as I was really struggling and she didn't even reply! But the one time I left class early (because of a migraine) she texted me to say she was "gutted" I hadn't stayed to the end - which really annoyed me as I'd told the weigh-in lady why I was leaving and I think guilt-tripping is a c!!!py move. She has also messaged me to say that I must hand in my diary each week and then had to text again to say "Oh I just found it." She only seems to contact me to tell me off - even though I haven't actually done anything wrong! LOL.
I can't really change classes as the times don't work around my kids etc. but it would be so nice to have some support when it gets hard. I'm struggling this week. Anyone else struggling too??
ETD: I'm going to give the SP menu a go this week to try and shake things up - anyone want to join me?0 -

Hello again betty, good to have you back. Shame about the consultant but it's working for you so that's what matters. I always though handing in food diaries was optional so what's her problem?
I was going to suggest gfb might like to try a bit of SP to offset the day off yesterday. Personally I've never tried a whole menu just occasional meals. Since SP was introduced it's made me think more carefully about the balance of carbs I eat and I look at peas in a new light.;)
Is it powerpoint you have to do lantanna? Probably best to get it done and then revisit it at the weekend, try and park it in between. Your menu for today looks really summery.:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold pork, fried veg & potatoes, pickleschicken stir fry with brown rice and maybe a few chips
Syns: honey in stir fry sauce0 -
Hi everyone
Well I had a bad day yesterday, didn't plan my meals properly so that's my downfall I think. Plus I found half a packet of rich tea biccies in the cupboard when I was looking for something else and then the woman whose cats we looked after brought us chocolate which of course kept calling our name  bad bad day! Hopefully limited the damage with a weights workout later in the day but I still felt rotten about falling off the wagon
Today will be better though I'm all planned and back on it
B - overnight oats HEB with strawbs and an apple, cup of tea & coffee using HEA
L - ham egg & tomato muffins with salad (lettuce, cucumber, radish, maybe more tomatoes, pickled onions)
T - MF chicken burgers with SW roasties & spring greens
I'll have to try some more SP days I think as they work well for me and keep me full so I don't use as many syns. Hope yours go well Betty well done on the loss so far
Hope everyone's well, we have sun at last so I'm off to make the most of it now and have lunch in the garden
Have a good day everyone

Thanks maman and candyapple I think my consultant just sends out stock texts to make it seems like she's doing the "support" bit without having to actually BE supportive! Nevermind, I am doing okay on my own as you said and that's the main thing. :-)
I think I'll aim for an SP week (starting tomorrow so I can shop for food tonight) but if I have the occasional non-SP meal/day then I can live with that.I'd like to hit the one stone loss mark so need to shake things up a bit.
maman you have me intrigued about peas now - am off to investigate! :-)
Good luck getting back on the wagon candyapple, your menu looks tasty!0 -
yes Maman on how I perceive the role and how I would tackle it.
I'm trying to get it done over the next few days and then yes revisit on Sunday.
I've the back of it broken.
We have to hand in our food diaries in my new group, although really what would they do if we didn't................
I've had 3 texts from my new consultant so far. She does seem really nice. Funny when In my last group I didn't get once text ever from the Consultant and absolutely nothing when I left! But then it was a massive group or maybe she just wasn't bothered.
I'd def say to anybody not liking their group do try other ones where possible as a lot of it comes down to how you click with your consultant and what sort of interaction you want with them. Its suits some people to have no support and others like some to a lot. Everyone is different but I'm sure there is something that suits us all!0 -
I do like our consultant - she does send out group texts a couple of times a week and she also sends texts which are personal to you. Plus our FB page is very active...our consultant has been on holidays this week and still posted on it several times a day. She runs 4 classes (Thurs 5.30 and 7.30 and Sat 10.30 and 12.30...I go to the 12.30 cos my sister won't forgo her one day a week lie in lol) Lots of the girls in the classes socialise together and our consultant organises exercise classes and things like that for anyone to attend.0
