Sorry to hear you're feeling stressed tie. Sun has finally put in appearance here too but hardly sunbathing weather.

Off to the theatre later so tea will be early and I shall be avoiding all interval snacks!

One plus was that the play we saw this afternoon didn't have an interval so no ice cream was consumed.:) Lunch in the pub was very synful though (sausage sandwich with a side of chips:eek:). Back on plan now, hopefully until Thursday when I'm hoping to go to WI.

Thanks for sympathy greentiger. I'm very disappointed as he'd vowed to see his contract out but money talks. Now we just need to see how many players follow him out of the door.

I had a 'crazy burger' from the local takeaway. A beefburger, a southern fried chicken fillet,a hash brown, two onion rings and a cheese slice on a white barm. With chips that I smothered in garlic sauce. And garlic bread with cheese, jalapenos and green chillies. And a few cans of strongbow dark fruits. And a packet of walkers sensations honey and salt nuts for later.

But then I am BACK ON IT tomorrow.

We like soccer aid so I'm going to do a 'party tea' of burgers for Top Bloke and Top Boy, I'm going to have 2 x Asda sea salt and pepper turkey burgers (0.5 syns each) with a hexb wholemeal barm, SW chips and a decent share of a platter of a huge salad with corn on the cob and a big glass of... diet cloudy lemonade.

    Rest TBC.

Just enjoying my food coma at the moment.

Hope you're all being better than me :o

BEG  glad you figured out what caused your gain, can't wait to see how much you lose next week. Will you have to pay though?

Last week was counted as my 'grace week' shala so I need to get back into target range this Monday otherwise I will have to cough up a fiver . As I was over target by 4lbs I take it that providing I shift 1lb then I should be ok but all I can say is that I better have shifted more than a measly bl**dy 1lb after having a totally on plan week and ... taken my meds each morning :rotfl:.

Glad I'm not the only one off plan today topgirl. Pleased to say I've got back on it tonight with a
SP meal. Had thought of chips but instead had ham, eggs, mushrooms and beetroot. Feeling virtuous and thin for a change. :D

    Good morning everyone,

TopGirl, sorry but I laughed at your food (!!!!!!) description! Was the "crazy burger" as good as it sounds. We have a BBQ planned today, so I will be trying to stick to the steak and chicken with lots of salad with some new pots thrown in.

Weather wise the morning looks promising so I'm hoping for a nice day with the family.

Morning all, thanks for the welcomes. So far it seems to be going well I'm sticking to plan. Easy at the mo as off work last week but back tomorrow so need to get organised to take food with me enough for each day. I can't always get to a microwave so over summer I'll take salads & cous cous etc..with tofu, pulses, beans or vegan quorn.

I'd got into a lazy pattern of too much vegan junk food and things like using jars of sauces and too much soya cheese & sweet treats like cakes plus eating out or takeaways. Need to return to cooking from scratch - will be easier once I finish work for summer as I'm on a term time contract.

I met a friend at a Mexican restaurant yesterday for dinner been going there for 25 years so easy to get an adapted menu option off their vegan menu - went for what I felt was best option a 5 bean chilli, rice and a salad - without things like coleslaw - had water as I'd decided not to drink.

Think I'll cook a chilli today and some pulled jackfruit if I've got the ingredients in for a SW BBQ sauce.

Well first week of holiday done, I think I stayed about the same from the scales so can you stick that down please Shala, I didn't get to an official weigh in unfortunately as our plans changed. I'm away again this week in a caravan so will struggle to stick to plan.

I struggled last week also, go to a nice chip shop or cafe and have to have a baked potato with beans, wouldn't mind but they were generally more expensive than anything else.

    Morning all :)

I managed to get a voucher to re-join Slimming World - there was one in the Sunday Mirror today so DH picked a copy up with the papers this morning, then the first customer to come in had a Sunday Mirror ordered and she promptly tipped out the bumph and asked me to put it in the bin, so I had 2! The next customer that came in hadn't ordered a paper so they took my 'spare' one. :D

I started writing this at 8.30 this morning and its now 11.40 - I haven't stopped long enough to finish it!

    Catch you all later.
