    Sorry for the disappointments Topgirl
Im with you on the emotional eating and drinking!

Well done Shala and well done to OH! A lb a week is a great average, I'd love that!

People were giving off in class last night that their journals hadn't arrived still!

Tete, sometimes it just doesn't happen. I've been in the same boat as you for the last year, messing about with the same number of lbs. I know though I will get down in the end. But it would be worse if we weren't trying at all, who knows where we would be! For me its too scary to think about.

It is a year next week since I had my op, time flies!

2lbs off for me last night please Shala. If I had that every week I'd be delighted. Its going to take about 7lbs for me too feel it and less uncomfortable though so hopefully I get there quickly.

I'm off shopping tonight to get something for this interview on Monday so I'm having a bigger lunch than normal and will sort dinner when I get back. Prob salad of some sort.

B: Heb Bread with Laughing Cow Light blue cheese, tomato & cucumber

L: Smoked Salmon pasta, tomato, cucumber, pepper

Snacks: Nectarine, Flat Peach, Pink Lady, Yogurt

    Gin syns tonight

    Morning all

I just checked the syns for Danone Light & Free yogurt, just to make sure it is free, and this came up:

Mallons Lighter Moments Irish Pork Sausages, Low Fat, Gluten Free, chilled 6 pack (40g each) FREE

Anyone know where you can buy them? Anyone tried them?

Beanie - well done on getting into the next stone bracket, you're really in the zone! :j

Abbafan - it was Denise who posted about the macaroons, but I'd imagine you could still do them without an icing bag if you use a spoon and make 'drops'.

Tete - don't be so hard on yourself, you're not the only one that struggles to lose weight. You say you've ONLY lost 9 lbs, but that's still a loss and tells you that you CAN DO it. Holidays can be a good motivator, but if that isn't working for you try to find something else to focus on that will help you stay on track and make healthy choices when you're stressed. Maybe you could buy something nice to wear when you go on holiday, that's too small now but would fit you if you lost another 9 or 10lbs, that way you're still doing something towards the holiday but focussing on something else.

Maman - have a lovely time on holiday.

It's nearly the weekend :j have a good one everyone.

To the person who made the coconut macaroons, which recipe did you use? I've just looked at the SW website and the recipe there says you need a piping bag, but I don't have one. Can you do without?

Guilty as charged! I haven't got a piping bag either so I just used dollops on mixture (mine were about a heaped teaspoon each and I got 80ish small macaroons).

Well done Beanie on getting into the next stone bracket. It's a good motivator to carry on.

Well done to your OH Lantanna for getting Man of the Year, even if it was by default - I'm sure he would have still won it even if there had been others in the running.

Had a couple of extra syns yesterday but didn't have an HEB so not worrying too much about it.

Today' plan is a fishy day!

B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB)
L - tuna salad, loads of speed; dressed with balsamic vinegar
D - fish pasta bake - salmon, cod, smoked haddock & pouting. Will use a cheese sauce mix and some mozzarella on the top.

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - cheese sauce; mozzarella; weekend wine

    morning all,

well done on all the losses :)

I'm reporting a (slightly disappointing) maintain for this week - thanks Shala for keeping the chart on track :)

Got my pretty journal so started filling it in today :)

Breakfast: galia melon (s) with strawberries (S) and quark (P)

Lunch: not sure yet as I have a work event which includes a buffet. Hoping to bypass the food there and will pick myself something up to bring back to the office. Probably a jacket potato and beans with a side salad from the sandwich shop a little walk away from the new office - or as I need to save money I may just buy a pack of potatoes (£1) and a some beans (30p) and make my own. would have to forgo the speed though...will see how I get on.

Tea: the others are having nuggets and chips (just something quick as OH and I want to sort out some of the garden stuff since the shed is now up! I think I will make myself a peppered beef salad since I got some quick cook steaks the other day which we didn't eat! then will syn some coleslaw/similar :)

Aiming for 60 active minutes again today :) not going to be a problem with needing to walk to and from the event etc. Will get my bronze body magic award next week :) I could probably get gold straight away as I do a minimum of 60 active minutes and 6000 steps a day 4/5 days a week but I want to 'earn' them all individually haha

Lois I eat those sausages. I'm in Northern Ireland and Tesco & Asda sell them here.

I don't know if you can get them in rest of the UK? Anybody seen them?

Lol, I have no man Denise, I'm sure you meant to say Shala :rotfl:

I will take it as a compliment that you got us mixed up as Shala is such a lovely lady!

Morning all and thanks for the sympathetic replies! You're bamboozling me a bit with technical terms though as I'm not an actual SW member... for and against? SAS log? :o

Good idea! I haven't actually been on hols for four years so that pretty much applies to all my holiday wardrobe! I do fancy a little playsuit or something though to add to it so will keep an eye out.

I was starting to wonder if I should join a group but it's not really convenient for me as my work schedule changes week on week, plus to most people's eyes I'm quite slim already (as I'm so tall people can't believe I have two stone to lose but I do!) and I don't want to seem like I'm taking the pee. I'm considering rejoining online though for three months and using it a bit like a 'countdown'. Much as I bash the online membership, I could do with the syns info as I'm starting to find that the books I bought last summer are becoming less and less useful as new products come out IYSWIM.

Hope everyone is well, I haven't kept up on the thread at all but can see Maman is off on hols - have a lovely time! Tis raining again in the North after a glorious couple of days - typical on my day off!!

Weigh in is taking a bit of working out... Last weighed in on here on Fri 20th May and I've put on 3lbs since then, now at 12st 3.5. As far as the challenge goes I think I'm now 4.5lbs heavier than when we started :o:o:o With two WIs to go I think my revised target for this challenge may be to get back to my start weight!

Plan for the day is mushroom omelette for lunch with spaghetti loops and chicken and roast veg for tea.

I've rejoined SW online and bought myself some more books, with the express aim of being at target before having to renew!!

Thanks for that, I'll check if Tesco/Asda sell them here. Are they nice?

ETA - they're not listed by either company online, so they may only be available in NI - I bet it makes a change to know of something you can get that we can't get here in England. :D
