    Good morning everyone,

feel a little better prepared today.

sleep wasn't 100% but better than the last few nights so that's a plus. I am at work today however I have brought a small mountain of food in with me in preparation. Going for under 10 syns today plus lots of water :)

breakfast: strawberries and grapes with quark (mixed vanilla essence and a little sweetener with the quark) plus a 1 syn mocha (nescafe plus 1 tsp - so half a serving- of morrisons nu me hot chocolate which is where the syn comes from and milk from hea)

    mid morning: sliced apple

lunch: salad - spinach, boiled new potatoes, cucumber, tomato, chicken breast. 1.5 syn for light salad cream

    mid afternoon: sliced orange

tea: meatballs in Bolognese sauce with pasta. Bolognese sauce is 10.5 syns for the jar so rounded up to 3 for my portion. meatballs are muscle food extra lean beef ones...not 100% on syns as the giant ones which come in a six pack are 0.5 each however these are the normal sized ones which come in a 12 pack and are about half the size so not sure whether to say 1 syn for 2 maybe? I'll have 4 so will call it 2syns for those for now.
I am going to cook garlic bread as littlie and OH both like it too but I am going to be firm with myself and only have one of the tiny slices (its a baguette) which I will call 3 syns.

that's my 10 syns for the day :)

got a HeB to play with which I will have as two benefit light bars this way I can either have them when I need a lift at work or tonight when OH wants to start snacking :)

    feeling much more positive.

Body magic: walk at lunchtime (1hour) to bank and poundshop

OH got me a karcher window vac from B&Q on sunday. I've wanted one for ages and couldn't justify the money but they were on offer and he got an extra athlete payment so he treated me (he sure knows how to spoil a girl ;) ) so I've done all the inside windows and might cancel the window cleaner as I've been shown how to spin the panes upstairs so you can clean the outsides of them without needing a ladder/breaking your neck!

    Morning all :)

Thank you for the chart Shala and well done Jocko and Beanie for SOTW. :T

On the subject of whether its worse to have lost and gained it back, I think of it in positive terms, i.e. having managed to do it once, I know I can do it again. When I got to target last time I achieved an all time low weight wise, getting to a size I never thought I could achieve, having been overweight all my life. Now I know how good it felt to be that slim, to be able to go in all the clothes shops rather than just the ones that do larger sizes - and I'm determined to be that person again.

Mary - please don't get disheartened with your progress so far, it will work if you keep going, specially with all the exercise you're doing. Have you measured yourself recently? You might find that you're losing inches by toning your muscles.

    Todays menu: Red day
    B: pineapple, yogurt
    L: bacon, egg, tomato
D: chicken fajitas with salad, salsa and grated cheese (2 wholemeal wraps counted as HEB)

Yesterday's menu changed, I was going to have beans with my jacket spud but didn't fancy them so just had cheese and salad.

    Have a good day everyone.

Lushlifesaver, don't they have the weight on the packs? Would make it easier to work out.

Hope you had a lovely break Maman and everyone else who has gone away.

Not quite sure how as I went to an all you can eat Brazilian buffet on Sunday and, well, ate all I could, and definitely went over syns on my alcohol, but the scales are showing a 2.5 loss this week, so I will take that!

Plan today, I work term time only and Top Boy and I have only just got up due to a late night last night so:

B/D - Egg and mushroom hash and baked beans.

T - Chicken burgers (made from skinless chicken breast with no additives by the local butcher so free) in a HEXB wholemeal barm, chips and a huge salad.

I've got a pot of speed soup out of the freezer in case I need more food later on.

    HEXA - Milk in tea
    HEXB - Barm

Syns - 20g of low fat grated cheddar on my burger (3) and a packet of beef space raiders (3)

BM - Either clearing out the kitchen which is a good couple of hours on the go, plus ironing, or, if the weather picks up, town with Top Bloke which is half an hour to and from bus stops plus mooching around.

Looking for a new martial arts class since my kickboxing coach moved ours away, it's a local festival next week and a Taekwondo group have a display there so I'm going to go find out how far away from us they train. Really missing my two hours a week.
  • Hello everyone...we had a glorious bank holiday weekend and I realised that I didn't give my weight for last weeks weigh in...and I've missed the chart...should I just do the two weeks next week or what *confused* (it was my usual 1 lb off btw lol)

I bought a 12 week countdown - I didn't realise that the consultant didn't keep the diarys in stock and you have to wait for them in the post...that annoyed me slightly as I wanted to start it asap. Ah well - it's something to look forward to :)

    Food today:
B: 0% greek yog and fruit
L: ham and cheese salad sandwich (HE a and b) with clementines
D: I'm thinking a nice roast chicken with all the trimmings.

    Saving syns for weekend wine

Congrats to SOTWs and all you losers and hugs to maintainers and gainers.

showing my morning brain fog I hadn't even thought about it. As I'm at work I've looked them up on the website; the giant ones are 57g and the ones I have are listed as 30g each which I think makes them about 0.26 syn per meatball :)

just had 1/2 my heb as I was peckish but not hungry enough for lunch :)

:T to losers since I last posted. There's quite a few of you!:D

I'm not feeling ready for lunch either lush but as it's ready prepared pasta salad I can snack on it whenever even if it's mid afternoon.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: pasta salad (roasted Med veg and red beans)
D: BGTY sausage and mash with peas, fried onions, carrots, cauli and broccoli
Syns: 2 for sausages, maybe another 2 for some gravy and hopefully no more as I had rather too many Bank Holiday wine syns.:(

This is the norm I think with countdown promotions now. :( I think its because some consultants would sell the [promotional] books etc on internet auction sites etc so now SW only send out your book when your countdown is processed. Annoying !

gingerfurball / flateric - I didn't realise this; my consultant tends to have stock available of all books etc so I presumed I'd get it when I pay for a countdown on Thursday :(

Ahh well still something to look forward to!

Looking forward to buying a countdown as I won't have to think about cash each week. I'm going to pay for it with this month's expenses from work and then when I get my June and July payslips I'm going to put the money I would have spent on group in to little ones money box to treat her to a mummy-daughter-nanny day before we go on our familymoon :) should give us enough for a nice afternoon tea somewhere and a couple of little treats for her.
