At my desk like a beached whale today.

Joining a new group on Thursday night, I'm not there on my own at the minute so hoping this will help. I need to get to where Beanie is ..................I was at my best when losing for my sisters wedding.

So I won't be weighing this week so you can put me down as a blank please Shala, and then I'll go off next thurs weight as it will be all out of kilter with the morning / night difference.

Definitely agree that having a goal helps and if it's something exciting like a birthday or a wedding so much the better. I managed with aiming for a size 12 and a target weight that I knew I hadn't seen for 10 years.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese and pickles
D: lamb shank on parsnips, carrots and leeks with roast potatoes and cabbage
Syns: squirt of HP sauce and maybe wine syns as it's a Bank Holiday here (any excuse:o)

I was looking at the salads in M&S at the weekend (small shop on motorway) and decided they probably weren't any better synwise than the sandwiches I chose.;) When I've got the oven on later I'm going to do some roasted veg to make my own free pasta salad as my lunches are getting a bit predictable.

    Morning all

Hope you're all having a lovely time and enjoying the sunshine.

Reporting in with a gain of half a pound - not sure why, I thought I'd had a good week. Hopefully it will be gone by next week along with a bit more.

    Yesterday's menu:
B: melon and berries with natural yogurt
L: ham sandwich (HEB) and butternut squash soup
D: spaghetti Bolognese (inc onions, tomato and mushroom for speed)
    Syns - wine

    Today:
    B: banana and apple
L: scrambled egg and tomatoes on toast (HEB)
D: jacket potato, beans, cheese, salad
Syns - coleslaw (5 syns per 100g and I'll have about a heaped tbsp which I'm assuming is about 30g, so 1.5 or 2 syns)

I've just realised there's no meat there, so it qualifies as a green day - extra HEB :D - I'll have 2 full size slices of toast for lunch instead of 2 small ones. :D (I'm easily pleased!)

Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday.

    LL :)
    Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.3

    Ninth Anniversary
    Morning everyone

Had a bit of a naughty day yesterday - my mum visited and brought with her some choc chip brioche which we consumed between the 3 of us. So naughty but also so good. I had some strawbs with mine which I'm sure cancels out the bad stuff ;)

So back to behaving today .. food will be as follows:

B - marmite on toast HEB, cuppas using HEA
L - subway salad probably chicken tikka with some syns for dressing
T - SW burgers with chips & veg

Horrible weather today, we have typical bank holiday drizzle. Me and the OH are cat sitting today which I'm a little bit excited about, although we've never looked after cats before so it should be interesting :D

    Have a good day everyone
    xx

So so true having a goal definetly helps. My goal is to keep the gains off and stay painfree. Losing the weight has made such a difference to my life that I know I never want to put it back on so if I go a couple of pounds over my target I can be very strict with myself till its off. Its easy to lose just a couple of lbs than let it mount up.

Have to tell you all I am in LOVE with my latest kitchen gadget, a dishwasher, never had one before but would have done if I had known how good they are. I hate washing up so have not been cooking as much as I used to, which means my meals are a bit restricted. So off to find some new recipes for batch cooking.

Maman I wish I were anywhere near target but I still have a good 7.5st to lose :o you would of thought being so over weight I would of lost a good chunk in the first 6 months but my 2st 5.5lbs feels rather measley:( target seems so unreachable right now.

Yes but you are much better off than where you where when we started. As am I, we just have more of the journey to complete and can get there.

I'm actually looking forward to getting back to a group. The weigh in will really help me I think, having something more formal to work to every week will hopefully make me act a bit better.

If I had been off plan I could maybe understand but I've been on it 100% the last 2 weeks and Sts each week. I'm up to 2 aquafit classes, 1 zumba and 1 clubbersize a week and loving it. I know the changes are good changes and I do feel better for it, I guess I am just super frustrated.:(
