Had to get up early this morning as taking the car in for MOT shortly.

Breakfast has already been had so suspect lunch will be fairly early too!

It'll be the usual EE day:

B - boiled eggs; soldiers (1 slice of crustless)
L - LO beef stew; 1 slice of bread
D - HB braised steak & onions with extra Speed added
S - slice of toast & butter; maybe some Marmite as well

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread

Syns (so far) - butter 2

Hi All, don't know if you remember me!

I've slinked back to this thread as I did to my SW group on Tuesday, I honestly didn't think I could face them again, I even tried joining WW but the group I tried to join didn't exist. Since I'd already done my pre weight loss start of eating a whole dominos pizza and drinking 4 pints of water, I wasn't for going again another day. So I went back to SW!

Good job, I didn't get WW, said I could have 49 points, 8 slices of pizza or five snickers, I don't think I'd have lost much.

So back in the saddle, if it isn't too late can I got for

    20lbs please

    Welcome back jockosjungle

    Morning all..

I'd have liked that programme Lois, cabbies and Lorry drivers stereotypically have bad diets don't they. Hope they all managed to keep the weight off.

A bit sleep deprived here this morning, heard OH come in at 12, I got up at 2 because he hadn't come to bed so I was really confused, then at 6 for a wee, then at 8 to feed the cat and make a cup of tea. I hate broken sleep!! never mind, thankfully it's Saturday and apart from nipping to town, there's nothing much on the agenda!

Worked out my meal plan for the day, must plan the rest of the week later.

    B - eggs, bacon
L - heb wrap, "KFC" chicken, salad, BBQ sauce (1) Mayo (1)
T - pulled pork, corn, coleslaw, sweet potato, butter bud (0.5) salad
    S - strawberries, pop corners (4.5) milk/cheese (hea)

I have started to measure things properly again, as I was just guessing before so the measuring spoons are going to come out today! :D

Also got some bacon and chicken out to make the soup that Tete recommended, hope I like it as i struggle with lunch ideas so it would be great to take to work.

Hope everyone has a wonderful bank holiday weekend, and much thanks to the people who are still having to work through it :T

  • Morning all - just back from WI 1 lb off today giving 7.5 lb off in class - got my first shiney and also my silver body magic...I've been working hard for that one :)

Gone are the days when I would have been annoyed by a 1 lb loss...I'll take it with bells on now!!

My sis (the one who had the diabetes health scare) has lost 11 in class and 39 overall!! All her tests are coming back healthy now which I'm so proud of her :)

I've passed what I call my tipping point...I always find it hard to get under 15 stone - but once I do the weight seems to come off easier...14:13 (on her scales...14:12.5 on mine) - time will tell lol!!

I'm officially starting on Tuesday and will be weighing Tuesday morning to Tuesday morning.

Today, tomorrow and Monday will be doing an audit of the cupboards and a shopping list/meal plan.

    Baby steps.

and lots and lots of hard boiled eggs...
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Good to see you back jock? I don't remember why you stopped perhaps you'll refresh my memory.:)

Well done gfb:T, always good to see new numbers on the scales.

Going back to careful measuring is a great idea shala. Hope you're not too tired today.:)

I've noticed crustless bread mentioned. Is this a new product or just cutting them off? Is there an advantage?;)

We're eating out tomorrow so instead of having HB steaks as a 'roast' as planned we're having them tonight with chips:drool:.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: ham, fried veg and pickles
D: HB steaks with mushrooms and onions, SW chips and mixed green veg
Syns: squirt of syrup, weekend wine:D.

Maman - the crustless bread is a Kingsmill product (not sure if there are others but there may be). The advantage is that you can have 3 slices instead of 2, but of course they are smaller slices!

Snap - we're having HB steak tonight; but we'll have it with mash & veg.
