    Stock powder - free
    Noodles - free
Mixed veg - mostly speedy apart from the sweetcorn
    Peas - [STRIKE]speedy[/STRIKE] protein (free)
    Spinach- speedy
    Spring onions - speedy
    Herbs - free
Garlic - powder or chopped is free but puree is 1 syn per tbsp
Optional soy sauce - [STRIKE]??[/STRIKE] free

Just a few amendments. I see a lot of people get caught out thinking peas are speedy, they were moved into the protein category last year along with beans, legumes, etc. Still a good choice, just won't count in your third. :)

Also I never syn garlic puree but the one I use (just Tesco own brand) is oil free. Some do have oil though, so always check the label.

Nothing much of interest at group today. I did see the new diaries/planners which looked smart and I'm sure would help anyone who finds it hard to plan or stay on track.

is this a new paper food diary or something else??

It's a food diary in book form, containing enough pages for 12 weeks. I had a quick flick through and saw pages for reviewing progress, so there is more to it than a collection of identical printed pages. It's being given away free with 10 week countdowns from the last week of May, and while it's a bit on the small side IMO, it will suit most people.

There are loads of recipes available online if you google them, the SW website is another good source as is their magazine and there are some links in the first post.

I'm going to weigh in today for the week. Plus 1 please Shala.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I think I'd rather not start it off standing on the scale so will go off this mornings weight instead!

Denise can I ask how you make your egg mayo? Whenever I've made a something-mayo type thing it never tastes quite right!

I just hard boil my eggs, leave to cool, slice and then mash with a fork; add Hellmann's Lighter than Light mayo - usually only needs a couple of tablespoons and then season to taste.

Just spread both slices with the egg mayo mix, top one half with salad and then put together to make a nice deep sandwich.

No reason why you couldn't just use it on a plate with some salad if you don't want a sandwich though.

Weighed in this morning and lost a lb, so I'm now bang on target. Would love to lose 3lb to get to bottom end by the time we go away in June. As we're going away for just over a week from Wednesday next week I'll be missing the next 2 WIs! Will only have 2 WIs after that.

Today was a taster - not a lot of people bought stuff in but at least it was all Free or low syn - apart from a SW doughnut (had half of one so 3 syns!). I took in some SW chocolate brownies but because I cut them into small squares they were virtually syn free (the size I cut them you could have 11 for 1 syn!) Everyone was asking for the recipe so I gave it to one of the women and she said she'd put it on our facebook page - I very rarely go on there or post.

Today's plan is a bit up in the air as we're out this evening and no idea what we'll be having, other than it's a buffet!

    B - tasters at group + a few grapes
L - ham & tomato sandwich spread with LTL mayo (0.5)
    D - ???

    HEA milk
    HEB bread

Syns; tasters 3.5; LTL mayo 0.5

I'm quite excited for the journals - waiting to buy a countdown so that I get one! Also hoping the new Banana Milkshake HiFis are nice!

Been keeping a food diary all week; been well behaved - did have a pizza hut on the Saturday but I properly synned everything so know where I am at. My Scales show a loss so we will see tonight :)

not feeling well today but I've had my HeB bars, part of my HeA in tea and a couple of synned biscuits. weigh in is 7.30 :)

Pay day next week and I've managed to get OH to agree to move on to lighter more summery meals and also drop all his chocolate bars (ok it's for other sweet treats but it will save us money and lower his intake dramatically)!
