    What is saltmarsh lamb, Denise/maman?

I get my saltmarsh lamb from a fairly local butcher at Brogdale, Faversham. It's Romney Marsh lamb.

Saltmarsh lamb is basically lamb which has been grazed on coastal marshes.

    Today's plan is:

    B - fruit & sweetened quark
L - egg mayo & salad sandwich (3 slices of crustless)
D - jacket potato, tuna mayo & salad

Have made some chocolate brownies for a taster tomorrow and had eaten the crispy edges! (shared with DH)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 1 syn; cocoa (brownies) 1 syn max

With a bit of luck I might just scrape a STS tomorrow morning as just added up my syns this week and I've definitely gone over by about 5 syns! This really isn't helping my hope of getting to bottom end before going on holiday.

Denise can I ask how you make your egg mayo? Whenever I've made a something-mayo type thing it never tastes quite right!

Does that work Gingerfurball? Boiled eggs in a cup? How long do you keep them in for.

I had poached eggs on Heb toast this morning, I usually have something that. I'm not a big fan of a cold breakfast like yogurt or fruit. I find if I have a bigger breakfast then I don't have much lunch.

I'd been sorely tempted to get the gin out tonight this week is irritating me lol

I used to enjoy grapefruit quite a lot and now I've noticed all of a sudden after years of taking my prescription - it its now stated on the personal label on the pack do not have grapefruit / grapefruit juice.

Killjoy, but best to follow instructions I guess.

I have courgette noodles to do something with tonight, do I want them, no. But they are there and will otherwise go off so best eat. them! Oh we have our Accountants in today and they are having chicken and spinach only for their lunch. They are two young pups with amazing bodies, so there must be something in that lol

Hi All wondering if you can help?

Off to Chiquito tonight and have found the below which I think is probably the best option but no idea how many syns? Im going to swap the tortillas for a corn on the cob.

Any help would be appreciated x

Fresh chicken breast chunks marinated in a hot Habanero sauce, served with Mexican spiced rice, tortilla chips, roasted vegetables and sour cream

I don't think the syns for Chiquito are on the SW site. I'd say there will be a few syns in the sour cream (2 per tbsp.) and possibly oil/butter with the rice, vegetables and maybe the corn on the cob. Maybe about 8 syns for the lot? This is only an educated guess. As it's only one meal out of 21 in the week I'd just make sensible choices (which you are) and enjoy it!

I think my main issue is I'm lacking flavour in my food. I need a good think about menu plans but they're hard some days! Shall post it up :)

There's certainly no need to give up on flavour with SW, herbs and spices are free. Even adding a couple of syns worth of chorizo to a dish can make a difference. Do post your menu and tell us what sort of meals you like or you're missing and we might have some suggestions.

Suze The last time I was at Chiquitos it was lovely. My sister and I shared Chicken Fajitas and Blackened Salmon fajitas, we got them to swap one lot of wraps for a plain garden salad and just had one wrap each.

We also ordered a pitcher of long island iced tea but got them to make it with Diet Coke instead of coke. :D

I's second Maman's approach, have what you want within reason and then be good the rest of the week.

I agree, you're paying a lot to eat out, don't ruin it by worrying too much about it. The meal choice sounds alright.

Thanks for the lamb info, maman and Denise. I thought it was a recipe rather than a way of raising the lamb. I'll manage with Scotch lamb then instead - it's also very tasty!

Popping by with STS for the chart please. Was overdue a STS as had lost over past few weeks plus had a few off plan meals over last 2 weekends. Don't think 4lbs in 3 weeks before my hols is doable tho that would get me to target of 3 stones.
Well done to SOTW and other losers :T
