Me neither! LOL!
I usually have some balsamic vinegar on my salad; DH quite likes cider vinegar on his but I find it a bit sweet.

Well, I'm nothing if not consistent. WI this morning and another 1lb off making 2 stone 8 lbs in total since June. I have only gained twice this year (1/2 lb on the week after my birthday, and again 2 weeks after that when I celebrated again!) so although it's slower than I would have liked, it's nice and steady and means I'm making proper changes that are likely to stick! I'm now 1 lbs away from my "lightest ever" (well not EVER ever but I don't think 6lb 8oz is achievable :rotfl: ) which is 5 stone lighter than my heaviest ever of Spring 2010.
I did treat myself to fish and chips today - when I was a kid, I used to go to the Polling Station with my mum and gran, and then we'd have fish and chips. As I grew up, we did this every election. Then it was just me and gran, and we still did it, even when I moved out of home and she moved into a care home, I'd come and get her and push her in her wheelchair to vote, and then we'd go and have fish and chips. So today, after I voted, I went for a bit of a walk and had fish and chips at the beach. And then I had a 99 because it was sunny...and because I could. Am going to try to stick to 5 syns a day for the rest of the week (except Sunday, where it'll be nearer 20 because life is too short for !!!! gravy...I make it the way my gran taught me as a little girl, in the pan with the meat juices and vegetable water).
If I'm hungry later I'll have some SW soup.
Harrumph.
Despite following this plan (except Sunday's 20 syns was nearer 10 because I had steak rather than a roast) - or is it because of what I said about only two gains this year - I gained 1lb this week. I knew from the night before WI that I wasn't going to do well; I just felt super bloated and all squishy. Oh well.
I took a food diary this week and am filling it in properly. Doing the plan as if it was my first week...even measuring my milk. I also bought the fakeaways book because I really fancy something different...and usually I fulfil that need with a takeout.
However...I have just discovered my living room is ridden with ants :eek: . I have thrown the bin (which was originally red and is now red and black spots) out of the front door - the only thing in it that wasn't a tissue was an apple and pear core from two hours ago [STRIKE]!!!!!! they'd only been there since just after dinner, that'll teach me for having fruit for pudding rather than chocolate [/STRIKE] and vacuumed the rest of them all up but now I am all itchy and feel horrid. Anyone got any good ant-ridding tips (or have a clue where the !!!!ers came from)We may not have it all together, but together we have it all :beer:

still continuing with my weight loss,total now lost is 2st 2 and a half pounds
Had a funeral of a friend today and there was a buffet,so I resisted the sausage rolls and the cakesgot great will power! and tomorrow morning I am off to Aquafit at my local swimming pool and its in the open air outside but the pool is heated.
lost 2 and a half pounds last monday but I had a gain of 3lbs the week before as I had gone to a friends birthday.

Yuck - I feel for you, I hate the little blighters. You've done the best thing initially by vacuuming them up and getting rid of the food source they were attracted to. If they return you could try to locate where they are getting into the house and put down some ant powder or gel.
Your experience reminds me of something that happened to me years ago - I went to the supermarket and I'd only been out of the house for an hour. When I returned there was a swarm of flying ants in the kitchen - they were everywhere - no idea how they got in as nothing was open. All I could do was get the vacuum cleaner out and catch as many as I could. Everywhere felt dirty and so did I.

B - bacon & mushroom omelette; tomatoes
L - chicken salad
D - chicken curry/rice
HEA - milk
HEB - no idea yet!
Syns - not sure yet as no wine in the cupboard:eek:. May have some gin & tonic or pastis with water.

Afternoon :wave: well done losers :T:TThey say its 80 - 90 % nutrition and the rest exercise and I think that sounds about right.
I keep trying to tell OH this but he's having none of it, he lost a lot of weight going to the gym but I think it was him cutting out all the carp that properly helped most..
I usually have one meal off Savingmum, but I've found it's really hindering me this time around - maybe it's the age I am :eek: When I followed SW in my 20's I used to have a chippy tea every thursday and still lose loads..
Sorry to hear about your ant infestation Emmylou, we had it in the kitchen last year. I tried all natural things like cinnamon and lemon juice but in the end I had to get poison as they just weren't shiftingLois.. brr that's made me feel a bit _pale_ hate the little flying b*ggers!!

I've struggled eating today, couldn't really be bothered :eek: savings all my syns for this evening if I want them...
