    I did at the beginning of my weight loss but recently it's had much more of an effect on me.
    When I was getting to target, I didn't have a day off as such but I made weekends different by saving syns. So I probably have about 75 syns from Friday evening to Sunday but that means I have to eat fairly low syn all week. It wouldn't suit everyone but worked for me.

    Just enjoyed a SP lunch of mushroom, ham and asparagus omelette with pickles. Baked beans with HEB for breakfast and chicken stir fry planned for tonight.

    Hi Savingmum - welcome to the thread. I relax a little on weigh in day - WI for me is 9.30am and I usually have a few extra syns that day but not too many. It is possible to go off plan now and then and still lose weight, and it might help stay with the plan if you have that flexibility.

    Well done for all the losses coming in, even those who are undoing gains from last week, it all counts in the long run. :T. I've been sticking to the plan like glue this week in an effort to see if I can lose 2.5lbs - that will take me into the next stone bracket and I'll get a half stone shiny. I'm already on the lower number on my scales but having breakfast and wearing clothes results in a 3lb difference on the SW scales.

    Aaaaagh, today the office gorbs are munching on Apple Cake, Fresh Cream Swiss Roll, Cream Buns and Scones from the Bakery. They may enjoy it now coz It will be worth it when I'm slinking around again and they are all asking me how I've done it! What is it with Fridays in a workplace sends people off into an eating frenzy!! Thankfully its all sweet stuff, I find that easier to resist. Its the smell of the sausage rolls and bacon baps normally kills me lol

    thanks maman, I need a big refresher on speed foods as 'm still a bit in the free/super free mind I think. I'm going to make a list of my favourite speeds in the front of my new notebook tonight to help with planning I think.


    I would usually have frozen berries with overnight oats/Weetabix or just mixed with yogurt but I didn't get any out for today. I don't think I eat enough at breakfast to be honest - definitely not enough speed, so I need some new breakfast inspiration.

    I don't take a day 'off' I work it in to plan. There's a tag on instagram #notsoslimmingworld and my consultant explained why that's wrong perfectly - no food is 'not slimming world' as the whole idea is that you make the plan work for you and nothing is 'off plan' you just build it in. She also says if it works for you then great but if your weightloss slows down then things like this/tweeks are the very first thing to look at.

    I'm like you and could easily pass on sweet stuff. I think the answer to your question about Fridays is much what we've been talking about on here. I like weekends to be different which is why I save syns. I wouldn't waste them on a cream bun though.;)

    Afternoon all - yeah I bank my syns...and syns are for wine and wine only!

    Absolutely stunning day here today! But have to work till 6.30 - we've missed the good weather cos we've been so busy...not a bad complaint so I'm not going to complain!

    WI tomorrow...hoping for at least 1lb...slow and steady wins the race :)

    Def not not when there is weekend wine / gin to be had! I had decided on chicken salad for tea, then I moved onto burgers and now I'm thinking something with sw chips. I am so indecisive its unreal lol.

    Hi my today's menu...

    Breakfast... Bran flakes,, A/B mixed berries.

    Lunch.. Celery soup, bread roll 6 Syns potato pie rest of Syns fruit.

    Dinner cod fillet s/w Chips mushy peas lemon wedge. Pear.

    Extras. Yoghurt, 2 ryvitas 3 Syns
    All my Syns.

    I don't bank my syns, but I never go out! I can have 15 being a fat man, but she said I could have 20. So I plan 15 but sometimes have a couple more

    Men are allowed up to 25, especially if you have a good amount to lose. The smaller women in my group are always jealous when a new man joins and talks about all his syns. :rotfl:

    Fish is off the menu tonight as DH has to work late so will save those for another day. Going to have a rummage for what needs using up in the freezer, think it's going to be some Quorn pieces. Which would put me on a green day again so maybe I'll have some brazil nuts for my extra B. Not bothered about the A, already struggle with the allowance (I don't eat cheese) as it is!
