Don't put yourselves down losers. A loss is a loss, just take it and press on!:T

:T:T:T on calling target b-e-g! Ask anything you like about being a target member. My way is to stick to plan most of the time but relax a bit when I eat out and then get straight back on it afterwards. Well done, that's an amazing achievement. You're virtually half the weight you were. What an inspiration.:T:A:

Today is one of those days where I really want to be on plan but have no idea what I'm going to eat. I was away with friends at the weekend which meant meals out etc. It was a great time but now it's back to earth with a bump with the return to work looming and no healthy sw friendly eating options planned.

I have been thinking that rather than stay at my desk during lunch I should really get out and get some fresh air. Perhaps go for a walk etc. Just need to put this into practice and also plan some healthy food options.

I hope everyone has a great day

Shala, I did well with the first Cycle then Cycle 2 I didn't follow as was meant to be eating copious amounts of carbs 3 times a day to allow to build muscle. Also got distracted with my Aunt and gave up with the food side of it.

I have stuck to the exercise 80 % I would say though and have really benefited from that.

Sort of still doing Cycle 2 exercise with my SW food. Cycle 3 is carbs only after exercise and not sure how realistic that will be either for me as although I don't / can't eat a lot of them I'd rather have a small amount over the day than just one lot only after exercise.

    Aaaagh

    Keeping plodding

Oh my I had a toothache last night, took some paractemol just bog standard ones from Tesco but a double dose as it was throbbing. I had the most odd dreams :rotfl:

Anyway will just keep going, if I have lost some of that 4 lb gain on Friday I will be happy enough!

    What is an Actifry tower?

It's a Tower low fat fryer, similar to an Actifry but a LOT cheaper!

    Here's a link.

That one works by convection and hot air, however I notice they also do one that combines convection with halogen and infra red. I know a lot of people who absolutely swear by their halogen cookers - Remoska is a common one, but again, quite pricy in comparison to this one. Link here.

    Good morning everyone,

It's a STS for me this week please Shala.
I have 6lbs until I get to target. I think this last amount is going to take a bit of time. I had a bit too much of everything (but mostly fizzy bubbles from Italy) at a BBQ on Sunday. Felt horrendous the next day, as my capacity to drink is thankfully way down.

B-e-g congratulations on becoming a target member. I don't have the up to date books, so I'm not sure if there is much of a difference from then until now? I wondered whether you have kept a large item of clothing to compare then and now? I am always gob-smacked by the size difference.

Have a good week everyone, I think we had our summer down South on Sunday, but I'm off to Espana for a few days in a few weeks, I would have loved to have been at target before cracking open the Cava, but I think that will be tricky now!

Re the chips debate, I have a Phillips airfryer which works very well for SW chips. I must get round to making SW tom sauce to save a few syns.

    Have a good week everyone!

Not sure if it's a tactic to get people to stay or something, there used to be loads of people in the group last year now not many seem to be in group.

It probably is. They get rated depending on their retention rates, so there would have been comments if it's down considerably. But I would honestly refuse to do it! I can be a stubborn wotsit sometimes. :rotfl:

So, wayyyyy too many syns were consumed last night. But speaking out of SW terms, my meals were all fairly low calorie and I didn't have any other free food or snacks during the day. I also walked for about two hours (half of which was shopping but I still count it as active!) so I think calorie wise, it balanced out. Sneaky peak on the scales this morning is showing me slightly down from Saturday.

    Today...
Breakfast - Fruit and yoghurt (3 for non-Mullerlight  )
Lunch - Out with MIL, will make best choice available
    Dinner - Gammon and veggies

ETA... somehow I missed reading a bunch of posts!

Rebster - I have the newer Ella book. It's OK, but it doesn't have a picture for every recipe which really bugs me.

Congrats b_e_g for calling target, and to all the losers so far this week too!

    Well done BEG!

Never really sure the hatred of BMI, when I had one over 30 I was really fat, between 25 and 30 I was pretty fat, and about 25 or less I wasn't that fat but still a bit fat, I never got it below 24 to find out how low it would go.

Think I might have to give an air fryer a go, I've been very disapointed with ones done on a tray, they never look like the ones in the book.

Come on then all you targeteers - shove up on that couch for another little one :D:D:D. Tonight was the final night of my countdown and I have decided to call target (actually gained 1lb tonight although not sure why). Have lost a total of 10st 3.5lbs since joining SW April 2014 and have snuck in with a final weight of 10st 13lb :j:j:j.

Totally agree with you Rebster re the bmi - when its right up high its the worst thing ever and then once its in the healthy range it counts for nothing - well I'm sorry it does it my bloomin book :rotfl:.

Hugs to everyone struggling at the moment xxx

Well done to all our lovely losers too :T:T:T
