Not such a good day today weight wise 1 lb ON I am very disappointed but hey, it will get better if I keep trying. I think I may be having too much fruit but I go for fruit instead of things I shouldn't I know I should have more veg, but I hate it.. Sometimes I don't seem to eat enough. Anyhow , I'll
Carry on regardless. So, here is my Sunday menu plan

Breakfast.. Bran flakes a/b mixed berries.

Lunch chicken, ham, egg lettuce ,tomatoes pickles and light salad cream 2

Dinner. Beef stew and 1 vegetable suet dumpling ??? 6 Syns maybe ?
    Roasties mixed veg. Banana.

Extras. Clementine, chocolate mousse 5 yns. 2 ryvitas 3 syns. F f yoghurt
    16 Syns ( gone over by 1)

    Hi Wizkid,

Your meal sounds great today - I'm stuck in a CBA to cook so throw things together phase and need to plan more balanced 'meals'.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that a 28g (meat ball sized) veg suet dumpling used to be about 9 1/2 syns (assuming 2:1 ratio of flour to fat. I used to make them all the time over winter)

Not sure if it's changed, but I can see you were guessing and those extra syns can lead to disappointment on weigh day.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Went for lunch at a friends house and he said he was making pizza, and was prepared for the worse. His wife was on SW, so instead we got ALDI frozen pizza, jackets and salad, so I just about salvaged myself having one small slice for 5.5 syns, and a jacket and salad!

I really hope I've done OK this week, we're doing a "blind weigh in" which is new for us. Our consultant is great and does things her own way, then she gets her boss in now and again to observe her and she randomly starts doing things by the book (we used to do a raffle for cash to buy a plan) then randomly we are doing it for a large punnet of strawberries, etc.

    Hi Everyone.

Weighed in yesterday, lost 2.5lbs this week, was really pleased with this!

Bought a new pair of jeans from Asda yesterday, they are the "Wonderfit" ones. My last pair (18-20) were getting big for me, so was able to get into a pair of 14-16, they are quite stretchy, plus they hold everything in, lol! Also bought 2 new tops. Am a size 18 in tops, whereas I was 22-24 before. These new jeans really do look "skin tight" on me lol!

I have tried SW chips twice and both times a disaster, they just burn at the edges for me and don't cook in the middle. The 1st time I tried them the baking paper was a nightmare and that just burn to a crisp in the oven. The 2nd time, I boiled the Potatoes for too long and they just fell apart when I tried to cook the chips in the oven. Too much hassle for me I think!

    Have a great week everyone!

I do make the SW chips but they are a bit of a faff after work so sometimes have smaller portion of frozen instead. Need to buy more soon. Which are the best SW wise?

beanielou - They are £20, but worth it I think. They are so comfortable and stretchy. They do a nice range of colours too - apart from the usual black and blue, they also do a light green, I have seen grey pairs, also a lovely red wine colour. I opted for a sandy brown colour this time.

Is the whole class doing a blind weigh in Jock? not sure I could stand not knowing!! Although it would be fascinating to see how it affected people.
