It's still bright and sunny here newshadow, not that I've got much planned.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably JP with cottage cheese and picklesLidl pulled beef, patatas bravas, mushrooms, broad beans, broccoli
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, I think there's 1 syn in the beef and then there's weekend wine!:D
I'd like to ask advice about baking trays for making SW chips and roasties. I remember some chat a while back about Frylight wrecking ceramic frying pans. I'm finding it's doing the same with baking trays. I do my chips on a baking tray with one of those mesh liners to stop them sticking. The Frylight leaves a gungey residue. DH sometimes decides to get it off with soaking and faffing about but I CBA. I've tried cheap trays and expensive ones and the same thing happens so I just use them for a while and then replace (sorry Martin:o). The ones that clean up best (in dishwasher) are stainless steel but I only have roasting tins (with sides) in stainless steel, never seen flat trays and not sure if chips would work in them I've just used them for med veg. Any ideas?
Poundland do a flat stainless steel serving tray which works quite well in the oven and cleans up in the dishwasher.Slimming World at target0 -

We don't use fry light but we always use the non-stick liners on trays to stop them going manky.. You get them in £ shops, but I think I got some off eBay.
I have a really good cooking tray from pampered chef along time ago. It was expensive but I've had it over 10 years, it may be stainless steel, and always cleans up really well.
I also do what June does, if it's something that's going to give off a lot of juices then just line with foil, saves on washing itMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
No probs tweets just let me know when you've decided which loss you want to go with
Warm here but the sun's hiding behind the clouds.. had a bit of a wardrobe sort out this morning, found a dress that I've never worn that could be used for a wedding in the summer IF I lose another stone by then. 13th August so 14 weeks, it's unlikely i'll make it but nice to have a goal.
Will have to go shoe shopping though :T:T love shoes

Hi all
It seems to be a week for leaving things out - earlier in the week DH forgot to do noodles with a stir fry and today I did the Taco Jackets recipe from the latest SW magazine, and left the tin of refried beans I'd bought specially in the cupboard. We didn't need them, there was plenty without. It was very tasty too. The recipe included a packet of old El Paso taco spice which is where the 4 syns come from, but I make my own fajita spice so all the ingredients were free. The Greek yogurt worked really well instead of sour cream.
Well done Musogirl - great loss and 2 awards! :T
June - your menu looks great to me, however I can't remember if Tofu is free. If it is, you're fine.
We've got a lovely row of tents in sight of the shop, they're youngsters doing the ten tors on Dartmoor for the DoE award scheme. Normally I'd be delighted, but they have to be self sufficient so they won't be setting foot in the shop.
Back tomorrow.
