Wow, busy here today!
My Vax is great on the industrial grade carpet we have in the shop but it doesn't like the rubber backed doormat, it gets a grip of it and won't let go!
I went to vote after lunch and when I arrived at the polling station (a community centre) the car park was full of school children. I was a bit taken aback and thought I was in the wrong place or I'd got the wrong day although I knew I hadn't done either. It turned out that the school on the other side of the street were doing an evacuation practice!
DH cooked chicken stir fry tonight and forgot to put noodles in but it was fine without them and I'm thinking that means today could be a red day - we had fruit and yogurt for breakfast, boiled eggs and toast for lunch, so we could have another Heb later.
Well done to all the great results today. :T
Hi NorthLondonChick, welcome to the thread and good luck with your goal.
Back tomorrow.

Hubby treated himself (and me I suppose) and bought a Roomba - the circular robotic one that goes around on its own. He's called it Bob after on of the Scutters in Red Dwarf. I'm still trying to o figure out how to get the cats to ride it.
Had a treat tonight. Have got a box of Ald! Magnum like I ecreams and decided to treat myself to one. Think it's 10 syns and I haven't had any today and only had about 15 over the last 3 days too. It was really nice and I swear it was nicer having been eating so healthily recently. It genuinely felt like a treat0 -
Welcome to thread Northlondonchick, I would just say check the fruit and veg you are having as not all of them are speed so don't count towards your 1/3 a day.. hopefully you'll be able to swap some of the free fruit and veg over to speedy F&V once you've been shopping.
Ask any questions you need to, there's someone around to help..

Gyms closed for three days now as its a counting centre ............................:(Feeling a bit left out of the cleaner discussion as DH does all the vacuuming around here:D He doesn't have cordless but he's tried all brands and loves Dyson most of all. He has two: one for downstairs and one for upstairs!
any chance you can hire him out? :rotfl: OH is meant to do our vacuuming and washing up, but he hates the vacuuming so I have to nag!Hubby treated himself (and me I suppose) and bought a Roomba - the circular robotic one that goes around on its own.
I have one of those too mrsp.. can't get him to work, I think we have too much furniture in the room and the rug is too thick for him to get ontoKept coming in to find him beeping half on/half off the rug where he'd got stuck and the beeping upsets the cat..
Weighed in tonight, lost 1lb.. all that walking today must have made a difference after all. Got my half stone award too
Right must go, Peaky Blinders is on!! :jMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Bob somehow managed to switch modes the other day so all he did for 20 minutes was go round and round in a circle on one little spot!
We have found him switched off and abandoned in the living room. Ts usually after he's swallowed a cat toy :rotfl:0 -

We considered a robot vacuum cleaner - it could clean every night when we're closed - but sometimes one clean a day isn't enough. In wet weather campers bring grass cuttings and mud in, so we'd need a manual cleaner as well to do ad hoc cleans, and they're quite pricy.
Love the name by the way!

It was either Bob or Madge and I didn't really like Madge :rotfl:0

I'd recommend a Henry, very powerful and didn't require any special attachment to get pet hair or anything, it's power just sucked them up. At the cheaper end as well.0

Plus 4 for the challenge please Shala
:eek::eek: No idea how that can be but have to go with what the scales are saying. Have weighed everyday and this morning all of a sudden up 4. Anyway hopefully it comes right again next week0 -
I got the vax one but I got the wrong one as I wasn't paying attention :(going to have to take it back now..
I keep looking at the Dyson as its a lot lighter, would you say it's worth the extra money? I thought I'd try a cheaper one as OH pulled a face when I suggested the Dyson but the Dyson has better reviews. Don't know whether to swap it for a Dyson rather than the other vax
Anyway back to SW :rotfl:
Done lots of walking today, twice as much as usual so hopefully I'm dehydrated enough to get a loss tonight :rotfl: I'm joking of course.
Food plan went a bit awry as I was stuck in the hospital for a bit longer than I thought and I was starving, bought a sandwich from tesco when I got outnot a SW friendly one but we'll write it off as its weigh day.
Don't compromise Shala the Dyson is superb my Son bout me one last Christmas 14. And it's brilliant. I. Had a Dyson upright before but there is no comparison. He also bought me a Vax carpet cleaner but I haven't tried it out yet. The guarantee is almost up and it's not been used.lol
