The meal was OK last night but some of the meat was quite grisly so not particularly nice but had the lamb was really nice and the chicken legs weren't too bad either. Ate plenty of salad as well.
Only had one G&T but unfortunately no diet tonic so full fat tonic it was, not sure of syns but think it's about 7. Also drank plenty of water.
No idea of syns for the night but hadn't had any during the day and as some of the meat was fried I've counted the night as 25 syns - think that should easily cover it.
Problem now is we're going away this afternoon until Tuesday so need to try and stick to plan as much as possible but there will definitely be wine syns involved!!!
Today's plan:
B - fruit; sweetened quark (definitely needed a light breakfast after last night!)
L - fishstick salad
D - HM meatballs in HM tomato sauce with pasta.
HEA - milk
HEB - no idea at the moment but may have some Ryvita this evening.
Syns - wine
Probably won't get back on line until I get home Tuesday evening.

Well done to all the great losses coming in!
Plan for today:
B - Overnight oats with berries (heb)
L - LO Chicken enchilada pasta bake (hea)
D - Devils pasta! FF greek yoghurt, berries, meringue (2.5)
S - banana, wotsits (4.5), kitkat (5.5)
E - 45 mins in gym tonight
Just realised I'm having pasta twice today!
The big challenge today will be staying away from the cake. Made a cake for photographing yesterday and had to tiniest slither to check it was ok! Making another tester today but I won't have any until tomorrow after weigh in.0 -
Morning all
Jocko - I also considered a Henry and borrowed one to see what it was like. Unfortunately I struggle with cylinder cleaners so it had to be an upright or make DH do all the vacuuming... :rotfl:
Denise - have a lovely weekend.
Musogirl - what's devil's pasta?
Lantanna - well done for being so philosophical about the gain, you're right, it's bound to sort itself out in the long run as you're doing the right things.
After forgetting to put noodles in the stir fry yesterday, DH's stomach rumbled loudly all evening so we had Ryvita and cheese for supper. I was only slightly peckish and could have managed without but it would have been churlish to refuse as he was doing them anyway. I had 2 Ryvita and 2 Laughing Cow triangles and counted it as an HEB. Not sure how much cheese DH eats, I don't think we use much but we always seem to need more!
I'm cooking tonight and it will be Hairy Bikers fish pie - it has a breadcrumb and cheese topping instead of mash. I usually do new potatoes with it but I'm thinking of doing plenty of vegetables and doing without potatoes in which case I could make today EESP or Red. Breakfast was toast and haven't decided on lunch yet, but it could fit in with one or the other.
Have a good day, and a great weekend, hopefully with plenty of sunshine.

Morning all, another lovely day here. May get out in the garden a bit later, although I did quite a bit yesterday already. Final cheeky peek at the scale this morning is only showing +1 so a considerable improvement over the other day. Will see what tomorrow brings!
I am finally catching up on the how to stay young program, am about halfway through the first episode. Interesting stuff.0 -
That's great to have a loss after a weekend away in the caravan lush. Well Done!:T
My weightloss never followed a logical pattern lantanna so I think you're right to just plod on. You know the plan well enough to know if you were having too many syns by accident to it must come good in the end.
It's glorious here too, I wish I was going away for the next few days so enjoy yourself denise.:)
I haven't done my meal plan yet so will put a straight from freezer meal down for dinner and adjust if I fancy something else after I've been shopping.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO beef casserole (just one potato left will pad out with a few extra veg)DGTY burger, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions and peas
Syns: scrape of spread, 1 for burger, squirt of HP sauce (if having burger) and wine syns:D.0 -
Enjoy your weekend away Denise, hope it's ok weather.jockosjungle wrote: »I'd recommend a Henry, very powerful and didn't require any special attachment to get pet hair or anything, it's power just sucked them up. At the cheaper end as well.
We had one jock, I used to want to kick him in his stupid smiley face when he got trapped round the door/settee/table etc. I'd be annoyed that the vacuum had got trapped, turn round and he'd be smug smiling at me...
I have an irrational hatred of vacuuming - can you tell :rotfl::rotfl: I can't bear it when the lead gets trapped under the doors which is why I thought cordless was best.Plus 4 for the challenge please Shala
:eek::eek: No idea how that can be but have to go with what the scales are saying. Have weighed everyday and this morning all of a sudden up 4. Anyway hopefully it comes right again next week
That's annoying isn't it, glad you have rational thought though, lots of us would have turned to the biscuit tin (well I would have!)
Imagine the loss you'll get next week!
Had a complete blow out yesterday because I was a bit miserable and PMT'y.. line drawn, back on it. Going for a few red days this week - consultant suggested SP but I don't like them as I have yogurt and banana for breakfast most days.
so red day today (2 heb's and a's)
B - banana, yogurt
L - 2 x ciabatta rolls (2xheb) ham, salad, mustard, pickles
T - pork schnitzel (syns for breadcrumbs), roasted veg, salad
S - milk (hea) crisps (5) cheese (hea)
Just popped to Iceland and bought a big gammon to stick in the slow cooker, 5kg chicken and some SW burgers! so should have enough meat to keep me going!:rotfl:
xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Lois - it's from the new Free Food Feasts book. I think it's just (yet another) take on Arrabiata!
Ok, some buttercream icing my have fallen in my mouth, so I will not be having any other syns today. I really need a decent loss tomorrow to keep my spirits up. The last couple of months have been a mix of maintains, and half and one pound losses. While I realise slow and steady wins the race, when I still have such a long way to go a decent chunk every now and then really helps the motivation.0 -
Managed to wangle a short day again today. Gymming in the morning followed by being taken to breakfast by a friend. I think I'm going to aim for 2 days a week at the gym going forwards, just half an hour before work. Might stick to that.
Didn't make great choices food wise today, but also didn't completely cut loose - Mindful is what the plan is all about for me, but we'll see if that's reflected at the end of the month.
Breakfast - beans, scrambled egg, 2 quorn sausage(2), 1 slice fried bread(9)
Lunch - N/A
Snack - banana
(TBE) Dinner - stir fry - stir fry veg pack, baby spinach, bean sprouts, soy, ginger, garlic, prawns.
(TBE) Puddin' - fruit salad - pear, Apple, orange, grapes, blue berries
HexA - milk in tea (and coffee)
HexB - ?
Syns - 2 quorn sausage(2), 1 slice fried bread(9)
Body magic - 30 mins in gym before work. 10 mins on treadmill (.66 miles) and 20 minutes on the weight machines.- 2 sets 10 reps arms - 10kg
- 2 sets 10 reps shoulders - 10kg
- 2 sets 15 reps thighs - 15kg
Hope everyone's expecting fab weather this weekend and will be able to get out and enjoy it!That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I always do my gammon in the traditional way: boiled (or in SC) with just an onion, carrot, bayleaf and a few peppercorns. I'm not sure which I enjoy most, the lovely meat or the fantastic lentil soup from the stock.
To give me a SP (or Red) option I now make the soup with just lentils and veg (carrots, onion, leeks) because I used to add a cubed potato. I slice the cold meat in portions and freeze it. Very mse :money:as well as being SW friendly.
I've done my meal plan so off to Aldi and Sainsbury's. Very easy this week as a number of meals out planned.:)0
