Welcome back FE and welcome to any newbies (can't remember names!).

Piparooney - well done on avoiding the croissants, pain chocolat etc - I certainly won't be when I go on holiday next month until October!!! There will be loads of croissants, pain chocolat & pain raison plus of course the obligatory red wine:D.

It's WI for me this morning and hoping for a small loss (probably only 1/2lb) but will be OK with STS as long as it isn't a gain (I've had a good week again).

    EE today:

    B - strawberries after WI
L - crabsticks & salad; may or may not have in a sandwich, haven't decided yet!
D - out at a Brazilian restaurant near the O2 for grandson's 18th birthday. Apparently starters are a salad bar & street food followed by as much meat as you can eat at the table - there's no mention of any carbs at all (unless it's in the street food which I'll be trying as it isn't a restaurant I'm likely to go to again as it's quite a long way away)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Denise

    Wow, well done!

There was a woman at my class yesterday who lost the same amount on her 2nd week, that's amazing. You could have your stone award next week specially if you take your jacket and shoes off! :rotfl:

The reason I didn't take my shoes or jacket off was it got silly towards the end last time, wearing shorts in winter and not drinking after 1pm. I want to start on a more even footing.

To be honest, before I went to my first weigh in I did eat a whole Papa Johns Pizza, so probably a few pounds is just not doing that.

You don't really want to do anything for a big weight loss in the first week as it doesn't count for SOTW and only half for SOTM. I need my stickers!

That sounds like the Argentinian restaurant I went to in Spain - we had chips, rice and salad bowls on the table which could be refilled, then the meats were brought to the table on skewers. It was SW friendly if you didn't have sausages and only ate the lean meat, not the fat (and ignore the chips of course!).

There was street food on Masterchef last night, they were in Mexico and the food looked amazing - tacos and tortillas as you'd expect, but also cactus and many other foods that were unfamiliar to me.

    Morning all :)

Your job sounds great Piparooney, but challenging food wise. Good luck with finding healthy options.

Jock - you make me laugh... :rotfl:

Welcome back Flat Eric and welcome to Li0ness - I found you on Instagram :D. I posted a photo for the first time and I really wasn't sure what I was doing, so if it's appeared 5 times I won't be at all surprised. :o

Had cauliflower rice for the first time last night and it was [STRIKE]great [/STRIKE] okay, I'd eat it again. The curried meatballs were lovely - I followed the recipe I used to use, which involved syns for curry paste (1), raisins (3.5) and breadcrumbs (3) so 7.5 for the whole recipe and I had less than half which isn't too bad. It had carrots, green pepper, onion and tomatoes in the sauce so there was plenty of speed, and I had an orange for pud to make sure I'd had enough. Yesterday was quite close to being EESP except that I had a free yogurt after lunch.

All this talk about croissants makes me want one! I love them with a slice of hot bacon in. We sell them in the shop and thankfully we haven't got any at the moment, but I've got some ready to bake ones in the freezer that I'm going to try when we're busier, as a back up for when I haven't ordered enough. Have to resist doing market research... :rotfl:

If I lose 2.5lbs at class next week I'll be in the next stone and I'll get my 1/2 stone shiny, so I'm constantly reminding myself of that when temptation rears its ugly head.

Its another sunny day here and I've got plans to be outside this afternoon - I have 5 troughs to plant up. Plants and compost were purchased yesterday, so just need to get on with it.

    Have a good day everyone.

    LL :)

Congratulations on the job June! :j

    Welcome Hollowhead!

I love my cordless vacuum Shala. I've had it a couple of months and I (very sadly) still get a little excited using it!

    Plan for today:

    B - 2 x hifi (heb), activia
L - Jacket potato with chilli, cheese (hea) and salad (0.5 dressing)
D - Sechuan pork (1.5) with cucumber and rice
    S - wotsits (4.5), kitkat (5.5)

    E - hours pilates tonight

Very light on speed today as waiting for the shopping to be delivered. The only speed in the house at the moment is cucumber and I didn't fancy that for breakfast!

Guiltily sneaking in with +1.5lb :embarasse I knew it was coming though as I had a lovely time on holiday!

Off to do the food shopping now with the intention of buying lots of healthy SW stuff, but am so tired recently, I'm craving sugar all the time. I've started taking my iron tablets again to see if that helps.

Haven't caught up on the thread yet but hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine :D

As you've had a veggie day (Green Day) you can have another HEA and HEB if you want to as you can have 2 of each (which is why I quite like having Green days)

Thanks Denise. I need to read up more on green days. I understand red days but have never really looked at green since I don't like carbs and I know carb lovers love green days. :rotfl: I knew it didn't qualify for SP though, so just stuck with my 1 HEs. Didn't really fancy another one anyway, although maybe there's some more interesting choices on the green list.

No idea what today's dinner plan is as DH announced he's going to Nando's for lunch and I had got chicken out. So a bit of rethought is required. But the rest of the day is the same as yesterday, as I enjoyed it. :D

As this is MSE, our Iceland has the Mediterannean chicken sausages down to £1, if you bought 3 packs you'd qualify for 6 mullerlights as well as it works on any meat or ready meals purchased.

Not a bad deal if you like chicken sausages, I didn't like the sound of them
